· Securing of new contracts for BWC. This will include estimating and the pricing/programming of such work.
· Estimating and developing systems for estimating.
· Development and updating of Candy templates.
· Foster relationships and negotiate prices with suppliers.

Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Steel Fabrication Estimator located in Brakpan. The Steel Fabrication Estimator will be responsible for analysing project specifications and drawings, preparing detailed cost estimates, coordinating with the engineering and production teams, and ensuring that all estimates are accurate and submitted within the required timelines. The role involves assessing material and labour costs, sourcing suppliers, and maintaining effective communication with clients to address any concerns or adjustments to the project scope.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the steel industry, with a minimum of 5 years' experience.
- Bachelor's degree or relevant qualification in engineering, construction management, or a related field
- Experience as a Fabrication Estimator
- Extensive knowledge of steel fabrication, including steel and stainless steel
- Proficiency in cost estimation and analysis
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification preferred
- Able to read and interpret Fabrication drawings
