This is a full-time position for a Middle School Design Technology/Computer Science teacher at the Johannesburg Campus. The ideal candidate is a curious, mindful, and resilient educator who will create and implement a dynamic curriculum that fosters a design-thinking approach and mindset in our students. The teacher should empower students to be thinkers by encouraging creativity, risk-taking, and divergent thinking in an inquiry-based classroom setting.

This role is integral to our Middle School experience. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Laboratory Technician & Personal Assistant to Prof. Veron Ramsuran. This is a dual role that combines laboratory support with administrative and personal assistance. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing laboratory procedures while also assisting with scheduling, communication, and organizational tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Laboratory Technician Duties:

• Receive, log, and track incoming biological samples.
• Prepare samples for analysis, including nucleic acid extraction.
• Perform molecular biology techniques, including PCR (conventional and/or real-time).
• Assist in maintaining accurate laboratory records, databases, and chain of custody logs.
• Monitor and maintain laboratory inventory, reagents, and consumables.
