Your key responsibilities

As a Senior Manager, you work with client teams and EY teams to arrive at an enterprise solution that is scalable, adaptable and in synchronization with ever changing business needs. The role will also be required to participate in client and EY internal engagements, provide leadership, oversight and mentorship for junior team members, and support building out the reporting & analytics practice. You will also influence projects, vendors and/or SIs to ensure they are aligned with our approved methods and delivery standards. As a Senior Manager, you'll assist in developing applicable methodologies, tools, approaches, points of view, thought leadership and accelerators to differentiate EY in the ERP consulting market. Our seniors managers are thought leaders with demonstrated experience within their chosen SAP Module.

Project Management: Participate in large scale SAP client engagements. Consistently deliver quality client services, driving high-quality work products within the expected timeframes and on budget. Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes. Manage expectations of client service delivery. Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business. Should be a self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Should be comfortable interfacing with a client on a daily basis. This role requires daily interaction with the client at many levels.

Practice Management: Demonstrate deep technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Demonstrate ability to quickly assimilate to new knowledge. Possess in-depth business acumen. Remain current on new developments in Consulting capabilities and industry knowledge. Assist in developing applicable methodologies, tools, approaches, points of view, thought leadership and accelerators to differentiate EY in the consulting market. These are shared with all EY market facing organizations to provide consistency and common platforms with which to go to market.

  • Provide subject matter expertise, design expertise and engagement management for a module within the SAP S/4HANA solution set.
  • Deep knowledge of the overall SAP roadmap and experience with assisting clients to understand the myriad of options available to them. This should include preparing the business case to define an appropriate roadmap for their business and ultimately helping them in executing that roadmap.
  • Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress.
  • Help prepare reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties.
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel.
  • Build strong internal relationships within EY Consulting and with other service lines across the organization.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • A degree in computer science, accounting, finance, or a related field (MBA or Business Undergraduate degree preferred).
  • SAP certification/s and relevant project experience at minimum.
  • Approximately 10+ years of total experience and SAP Implementation experience in minimum 4-6 full life cycle projects.
  • Prior Experience of bid and delivery solutioning as well as core delivery must in the SAP.
  • Expertise in SAP S/4 HANA and with relevant implementation experience.
  • Understanding SAP S/4HANA cloud service offerings with relevant implementation experience.
  • Experience in more than one of the functional workstream (FICO, SD, SF, EWM, TM, Ariba, BTP, Hybris, IBP) or over-all solution architect.
  • Worked on implementation RFP’s as a solution architect responsible for designing solutions end to end.
  • Strong verbal and written communication with out of box thinking abilities.
  • Ability to understand Methodologies (Activate, Agile, SDLC, SCRUM) and other industry business fundamentals and ability to showcase a quick learning curve.
  • Proficient in MS Office products (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong knowledge in business processes and best practices.
  • Excellent business communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge in ASAP /Activate / EY Hybrid implementation methodologies.
  • Capability of presenting the value proposition in the module / area.

  • Understand client requirements (RFP/ RFI), build synopsis and have an ability to articulate the customer ask.
  • Support the SAP implementation project and play solution architect role binding the entire solution to meet client requirements.

Summary


The SAP Support Analyst supports the Hatch Project Management process, which is mainly comprised of the SAP PS (Project Systems) and HCM Timesheets modules, as well as other non-SAP solutions (Omega 360 PIMS module).

The Support Analyst will play an important role in user support, with the responsibility to assist users, troubleshoot, and ensure that users can manage their engagements efficiently. They are responsible for problem ownership and resolution, combined with superior customer satisfaction and service level attainment for any support requests.

The Support Analyst interacts directly with end users to help them troubleshoot and resolve technical problems. They assume full ownership of the support request, ensuring it is resolved in a timely manner or escalated appropriately to other support analysts, IT, the Functional team, or Functional Support for review and input.
The Support Analyst will support users on every continent and must be flexible regarding working hours, frequently overlapping North American or Australian time zones.


Responsibilities

  • Manage, support, coordinate, and resolve issues relating to the Project Management lifecycle, including SAP applications (Project Systems and Timesheet Processing) and non-SAP applications.
  • Provide first-level support by identifying and resolving system problems and assisting end users as required.
  • Serve as contact between service desk, ICT, other administrators, functional support, users, and the SAP team who provide third-level support and implement enhancements and new solutions.
  • Responsible for problem management activities such as issue resolution and root cause analysis, combined with superior customer satisfaction.
  • Work on and close out tickets in the Hatch Zendesk System, while adhering to SLAs, standards, and processes for systems at Hatch.
  • Manage your assigned ticket queue, and escalate any issues as required.
  • Identify and document proactive solutions for recurring issues.
  • Monitor integrations with external systems.
  • Assist with system testing, training, and documentation.
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.

Qualifications


Skills, Education, and Experience

  • BA or BSc degree in Business or Business and Computer Science / Information Systems or equivalent Business and Project Management / Project Cost Control application experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience using or supporting a Project Management / Project Cost Control application.
  • Understanding of concepts surrounding project cost control.

Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated SAP Support Analyst to join the Digital group in Johannesburg, SA .

Summary


The SAP Support Analyst supports the Hatch Project Management process, which is mainly comprised of the SAP PS (Project Systems) and HCM Timesheets modules, as well as other non-SAP solutions (Omega 360 PIMS module).

The Support Analyst will play an important role in user support, with the responsibility to assist users, troubleshoot, and ensure that users can manage their engagements efficiently. They are responsible for problem ownership and resolution, combined with superior customer satisfaction and service level attainment for any support requests. The Support Analyst interacts directly with end users to help them troubleshoot and resolve technical problems. They assume full ownership of the support request, ensuring it is resolved in a timely manner or escalated appropriately to other support analysts, IT, the Functional team, or Functional Support for review and input.
The Support Analyst will support users on every continent and must be flexible regarding working hours, frequently overlapping North American or Australian time zones.


Responsibilities

  • Manage, support, coordinate, and resolve issues relating to the Project Management lifecycle, including SAP applications (Project Systems and Timesheet Processing) and non-SAP applications.
  • Provide first-level support by identifying and resolving system problems and assisting end users as required.
  • Serve as contact between service desk, ICT, other administrators, functional support, users, and the SAP team who provide third-level support and implement enhancements and new solutions.
  • Responsible for problem management activities such as issue resolution and root cause analysis, combined with superior customer satisfaction.
  • Work on and close out tickets in the Hatch Zendesk System, while adhering to SLAs, standards, and processes for systems at Hatch.
  • Manage your assigned ticket queue, and escalate any issues as required.
  • Identify and document proactive solutions for recurring issues.
  • Monitor integrations with external systems.
  • Assist with system testing, training, and documentation.
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.

Qualifications


Skills, Education, and Experience

  • BA or BSc degree in Business or Business and Computer Science / Information Systems or equivalent Business and Project Management / Project Cost Control application experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience using or supporting a Project Management / Project Cost Control application.
  • Understanding of concepts surrounding project cost control.
  • Experience in ticket / issue resolution and best practice approaches to user support.
  • Excellent problem-solving/analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and customer focus.
  • Results-oriented, self-starter, capable of working independently and within a team environment to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances or requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new concepts.
  • Ability to effectively interface with staff at all organizational levels.

Nice to Have

  • 3 years of experience with the SAP PS (Project Systems) module.
  • Exposure to the following SAP Areas: Finance, Timesheets (CATS), Resource Related Billing, and Results Analysis.
  • Understand EPCM / Professional Services project-related business processes.
  • Collaborate on exciting projects to develop innovative solutions.

Our Client a Global tech firm is seeking a Solution Architect - SAP Mining to join their team in Johannesburg on a contact basis. They offer stability, growth, attractive rates and a great working environment.

The Solution Architect SAP is responsible for designing end-to-end SAP solutions that align with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards. This role ensures that SAP implementations and enhancements are scalable, integrated, and optimized for performance, security, and business value.

Responsibilities :

Lead the design of SAP solutions across modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, HCM, and others.

Translate business requirements into technical architecture and solution designs.

Ensure alignment of SAP solutions with enterprise architecture and IT strategy.

Provide architectural oversight during SAP project lifecycles (greenfield, brownfield, upgrades).

Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure solution integrity and quality.

Support SAP S/4HANA migrations and cloud transformation initiatives.

Integration & Interoperability

Design integration strategies between SAP and non-SAP systems using middleware

Ensure data consistency and process orchestration across platforms.

Governance & Best Practices

Define and enforce SAP architecture standards, guidelines, and governance frameworks.

Conduct solution reviews and provide technical assurance for SAP projects.

Engage with business leaders, IT teams, and external partners to understand needs and deliver value-driven solutions.

Present architectural options and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

8+ years of experience in SAP solution architecture and implementation.

Strong understanding of software development, systems integration, and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).

Experience with enterprise applications, APIs, and microservices architecture.

Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.

Familiarity with security frameworks and data privacy regulations.

Preferably mining experience
