Qualification and Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in IT
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in SAP S/4 HANA, SAP MM, WM, PP or SD module(s)
• Ability to debug SAP ABAP will be advantageous

Experience:

• 6+ years of SAP Materials Management (MM) Functional experience, including configuration;

Our client in Pretoria is recruiting for an SAP SD DevOps Consultant (Advanced) to join their team.

Responsibilities:

1. Understand the business requirements, preparing AS-IS, and TO-BE documents and get sign-off from users for functional and/or technical design document(s).
2. Proactively propose solutions to improve the support of (new) business processes.
3. ABAP debugging beneficial (Workbench related knowledge of new development/enhancements).
4. Setting up the organisation structure for Sales & Distribution processes and perform all relevant configuration, including Materials Management where integration requires this.
5. Preparation of testing documents and perform internal testing.
6. Preparation of Sales & Distribution templates for various objects e.g., sales orders.
7. Integration testing with other modules.
8. Understand interfaces, IDOC and RFC's processing.
9. Preparing the cut over strategy for SD objects.
10. Preparing User manuals and conducting training to business process owners.
11. Go-live preparation and post Go-live support.
12. Interaction with clients through meetings, calls and emails.
13. Receiving, troubleshooting, resolving and closing Operational and Maintenance tickets within defined SLA’s (Service Level Agreements).
14. Responsible for troubleshooting issues for the system and providing support.
15. Executing the required changes through configuration.
16. Executing the analysis and resolution of Production Support calls.
17. Raising Change Requests (CR’s) and writing Functional Specifications for them.

Qualifications/Experience:

1. Relevant IT / Business Degree.
2. 8 years’ experience.
3. SAP S/4 HANA (advantageous).
4. JIRA and Confluence.
5. Ability to interpret Business requirements and move concepts through to proposal and successful implementation.
