· Understand the business requirements, preparing AS-IS, and TO-BE documents and get sign-off from users for functional and/or technical design document(s).

· Preparing test data and documentation, Conducting Unit tests, Regression tests and System Integration security tests including recording of results.

· Analyse and scope End-user authorisation roles.
· Update and maintain documentation as an existing system’s functionality is changed.
· Execution according to the Agile Methodology and attending of all team meetings, including Stand-ups, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospectives, Sprint Planning meetings etc.
· Daily use of the Agile Tool Chain, as per the updates required by the respective feature team(s).

RequirementsEssential Skills required:
· Excellent knowledge and customizing experience of the SAP PP; APO / eSPP modules – incl. Demand Planning module.
· Excellent knowledge of Process Chain creation and setup, BI info cubes, batch job variants, core interface integration models, custom tables, master data chains, cif enhancements and operational activities.
· Working experience of S4/Hana implementation
· Excellent understanding of the Supply Network Planning process, i.e. flow of demand and supply through the Planning horizons from Demand Planning to Supply Network Planning.
· Excellent knowledge of Supply Planning in focus of - stock replenishment, stock ordering, inventory management, stock distribution/ deployment (DRP), Planning optimizers in APO /eSPP.
· Housekeeping, daily monitoring, batch job monitoring and queue monitoring/ post processing.
· Working knowledge of the integrated/cross functional supply chain modules i.e. Sap MM, SAP SD, and Master data.

Succession Planning & Workforce Mobility
Learning Management System (LMS) & E-Learning
Compensation, Payroll (Domestic, Expatriate, International), And Benefits
Self-Service Portals (ESS/MSS) – mobile responsive
Employee Relations, Disciplinary & Case Management (e.g., CCMA)
Compliance Reporting and Advanced Analytics
Organizational Structure Management
Onboard historical HR data from legacy SAP HR systems (e.g., positions, qualifications, training, uniforms).
Integrate SAP HCM with group-shared services and comply with Transnet-specific payroll and pension formatting rules.
Work collaboratively with functional leads, technical teams, and project managers from IBM and the client.
Provide go-live and post-go-live support.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
5+ years experience with SAP HCM implementations across core and advanced modules
Prior experience working in or with government-owned entities (GOEs) or aviation sector
Proven experience with full-cycle SAP HCM projects, including data migration and integration
Strong understanding of South African HR legislation and compliance requirements
Ability to configure, test, train users, and troubleshoot SAP HCM issues
South African nationality (preferred due to regulatory and project needs)
Preferred Qualifications
SAP HCM certification (associate or professional level)
Prior involvement in projects with South African Airways or related public sector entities
Knowledge of Transnet-specific payroll integration formats

- Project manages/co-ordinates all tasks and the management/facilitation of IT support and continuous service delivery of the current SAP solution, by the outsourced service provider;
- Collaborate closely with the OneSAP MM Lead to deliver the OneSAP S4 programme outcomes from an MM perspective;
- Day-to-day interaction with various stakeholders including customers in the various business units and IT service providers, liaising with colleagues across all sections of the Global IM department;
- Maintain the customer service focus thus ensuring that the provisioning of services meets the needs of the business;
- Work effectively as a team member providing support, maintaining communication, and updating other team members and business on progress;
- Drive ongoing meetings with key business stakeholders to discuss status on enhancements, projects, and opportunities for improvements (i.e., weekly/monthly).
