The consultant will configure, implement, and support SAP MM functionalities to meet business objectives, streamline operations, and improve supply chain efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain SAP MM modules (Purchasing, Inventory Management, Material Master, Vendor Master).
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP MM solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless logistics and supply chain operations.
- Support SAP MM implementations, system upgrades, and enhancements.
- Conduct unit, integration, and user acceptance testing, and resolve system issues.
- Provide training and support to end-users and business stakeholders.
- Monitor inventory levels and procurement cycles for efficiency and compliance.
- Document configurations, business processes, and change logs accurately.
- Ensure SAP MM integration with other modules such as SD, PP, and FI.
- Stay current with SAP updates and industry best practices.
- Strong expertise in SAP MM module and its integration with SD, PP, and FI.
- Proven experience in procurement, inventory management, and logistics processes.
- Proficiency in SAP configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.
- Solid understanding of business process analysis and SAP best practices.
- Analytical thinking with effective problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, IT, Business, or a related field.
- SAP MM certification is an advantage.
- Experience with S/4HANA implementations or migrations.
- Knowledge of Agile or Waterfall project methodologies.
- Exposure to SAP Fiori and SAP BTP is a plus.

About the roleDeliver functional expertise in SAP Logistics processes, including configuration, customisation, and solution deployment, to meet business requirements. Ensure seamless integration with related SAP modules and external systems and develop automation where required. Leverage SAP solutions to design and optimise business processes. Provide user support, handling 2nd and 3rd level incidents to resolve operational and service-related technical issues as part of business-as-usual activities.
Minimum Requirements:- A relevant degree
- 5-7 years in SAP systems design, analysis, configuration and implementation
- 5-7 years in systems integration design and implementation
- Understanding of Supply Chain processes with a specific focus on Source to Contract, Procurement, Inventory management and Plant Maintenance.
- Experience in Fiori Functional design and implementation
- Understanding of SAP architecture, integration points, and how SAP solutions align with business processes
- Proficient / expert knowledge of SAP S4 MM Module , PM Module and Fiori
- Systems implementation and technical systems support experience.
- 2 years+ Agile experience and working knowledge of Jira and or Confluence
