The Service Provider to provide information around the Service Delivery Management solution they can provide to Liberty for efficient SAP Cloud ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) support.
Scope of Services
1. Implementation and Configuration Services
- Solution Design and Architecture:
- Define the overall architecture for SAP Cloud ALM in accordance with the customer's SAP landscape.
Ensure integration with other SAP solutions like SAP S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, etc.
Configuration:
- Setup of SAP Cloud ALM in alignment with customer requirements and SAP best practices.
Customizing the tools for application lifecycle management such as Change Control Management,
Incident Management, and Monitoring.
- Configuration of monitoring, alerting, and reporting features within SAP Cloud ALM.
2. Service Monitoring and Performance Management
- System Monitoring:
- Continuous monitoring of SAP Cloud ALM and associated systems to ensure availability, performance, and security.
- Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to track system health.
- Incident and Problem Management:
- Identify and manage incidents, including coordination with SAP support (SAP OSS) for critical issues.
Track and resolve problems to improve service availability.
Service Level Monitoring:
- Ensure that SLAs are met, track compliance, and provide reporting on service delivery performance.
3. Change and Release Management
- Change Request Management:
- Handle change requests for SAP Cloud ALM system configurations, enhancements, or new features.
Perform impact assessments and ensure proper change control procedures are followed.
Release Management:
- Plan and execute releases of new features, fixes, and upgrades to the SAP Cloud ALM environment.
- Coordinate with SAP and internal teams to manage the release cycle effectively.
4. Support and Issue Resolution
- Technical Support:
- Provide 1st and 2nd level support for SAP Cloud ALM-related issues, ensuring quick resolution of incidents and service disruptions.
Manage escalations and collaborate with SAP Support for advanced troubleshooting and resolution.
Root Cause Analysis (RCA):
- Perform post-incident analysis to identify root causes and prevent recurrence of issues.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to improve the system's reliability.
5. Security and Compliance
• Security Management:
- Ensure the SAP Cloud ALM environment is secure by managing user roles, authorizations, and access control.
Monitor for security vulnerabilities and apply patches and updates as necessary.
Compliance and Audit:
- Ensure that SAP Cloud ALM operations adhere to internal and external compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, SOX, etc.).
- Provide audit trails, logs, and reports for compliance tracking.
6. Data Management and Analytics
- Data Integrity:
- Ensure that the data within SAP Cloud ALM is accurate, consistent, and up to date.
Manage integrations with other SAP and non-SAP systems to ensure data flow and synchronization.
Reporting and Analytics:
- Provide customized reporting dashboards and performance analytics to support business decision-making.
- Set up automated alerts and notifications to track system performance and potential issues proactively.
7. Training and Knowledge Transfer
- User Training:
- Provide training sessions for end-users, administrators, and key stakeholders on SAP Cloud ALM features, best practices, and workflows.
Create and maintain user manuals, FAQs, and knowledge repositories for ongoing learning and support.
Continuous Improvement:
- Offer recommendations for improving system usage, processes, and overall service delivery.
- Regularly review and update SAP Cloud ALM configurations based on user feedback and evolving business needs.
8. Continuous Improvement and Optimization
- Performance Tuning:
Regularly assess the performance of SAP Cloud ALM and suggest optimization strategies to improve speed, stability, and scalability.
Service Reviews:
Conduct periodic service reviews with stakeholders to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and ensure that the system meets evolving business needs.
Roadmap and Enhancements:
- Work with SAP and other stakeholders to incorporate new features, enhancements, and updates into the service delivery model.
- Develop a roadmap for continuous improvement and align it with the organization's business goals.
9. Governance and Reporting
- Service Reporting:
- Provide regular reports on service performance, incidents, changes, and SLA compliance.
Deliver executive-level dashboards and reports on the status and health of SAP Cloud ALM services.
Governance:
- Ensure that governance frameworks are in place for managing risks, changes, and service performance.
- Align service delivery with industry standards and best practices.
10. Vendor and Stakeholder Management
- Third-Party Integration:
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors (e.g., other cloud services, SAP partners) to ensure smooth integration with SAP Cloud ALM.
Coordinate with SAP support for issues requiring vendor-level intervention.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Provide regular communication to stakeholders regarding the status of SAP Cloud ALM services, system updates, and performance.
11. Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity
- Backup and Restore Services:
- Establish regular backup procedures for critical SAP Cloud ALM configurations and data.
Ensure a tested disaster recovery plan is in place to minimize service disruption in case of an outage.
Business Continuity Planning:
- Ensure that there are strategies to keep SAP Cloud ALM services running even during periods of high stress, failures, or disasters.
12. Cost Management and Optimization
- Cost Tracking and Optimization:
Track the operational costs of SAP Cloud ALM services and provide recommendations for cost optimization (e.g., through cloud resource optimization).
Licensing and Subscription Management:
- Manage SAP Cloud ALM licenses, renewals, and subscription models to ensure proper utilization and avoid over- or under-licensing.
