Base pay rangeWe are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled FICO Support Analyst to join our IT team. In this role, you will provide first- and second-line support for SAP FICO modules, ensuring smooth business operations and financial processes. You'll play a key part in analyzing and resolving issues, enhancing system functionality, and supporting continuous improvement in financial applications
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily support and troubleshooting for SAP FICO modules (FI-GL, AP, AR, AA, CO, etc.)
- Resolve incidents, service requests, and change requests within agreed SLAs
- Collaborate with finance and business teams to gather requirements and analyze system-related issues
- Coordinate with SAP functional and technical teams for escalated support
- Perform configuration changes and testing to implement improvements
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities from a system support perspective
- Document solutions, processes, and procedures for future reference
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Systems, or a related field
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO support or consulting
- Strong understanding of financial processes and SAP FICO integration with other modules (MM, SD, etc.)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) is an advantage
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus
- R45 000 - R55 000

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled FICO Support Analyst to join our IT team. - Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting (NQF 7), Postgraduate Degree/Diploma in Accounting.
- Chartered Accountant (SA)
- 8 years experience of which 5 have been at a supervisory level in a large or complex organisation
- Registered with SAICA as a CA(SA)
- Proven track record in financial accounting & treasury operations
- Exposure to higher education or nonprofit organisations
- Knowledgeable in treasury best practices
- Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines & time management skills
- Well versed in accounting principles & financial reporting standards
- Superior understanding of IFRS principles
- Proven understanding of Income Tax and Value Added Tax Act
- Proven understanding of King Corporate Governance code
- Intermediate knowledge in the use of financial software
