• Manicures & Pedicures

• Gelish application

• Polygel enhancements

• Acrylic systems

• Bio Sculpture techniques

• Advanced nail art (Crystal Claws or similar)

HAIR SALON ASSITANT

We require a reliable and energetic hairstylist assistant to join our busy salon in die heart of Franschhoek. Only applicants with a min of 1-2 years experience will be considered. Must be fluent in English. Must be able to wash, massage and apply colour. It will be an advantage if you can do blow-dries and Keratin treatments.

Key Responsibilities

Nail Services

• Perform manicures and pedicures (classic, gel, acrylic, nail art)
• Maintain hygiene and sanitation standards for all tools and workstations
• Advise clients on nail care and product recommendation

Waxing & Hair Removal

• Provide professional waxing services (face, body, intimate areas)
• Ensure client comfort and safety during treatments
• Maintain discretion and professionalism at all times

Brows & Lashes

• Shape and tint eyebrows to suit client preferences and facial features
• Apply eyelash extensions (classic, hybrid, volume)
• Perform lash lifts and brow lamination treatments
• Educate clients on aftercare and maintenance

General Duties

• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming treatment area
• Build strong client relationships through excellent service and communication
• Keep up with industry trends, products, and techniques
• Support team with reception duties, bookings, and retail sales when needed

Requirements

Experience & Skills

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a salon or spa environment
• Strong technical skills across nails, waxing, brows, and lashes
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Attention to detail and a passion for beauty and wellness
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Accredited Beauty Therapy Certificate or Diploma SETA accredited
• Nail Technician Certification (gel, acrylic, nail art)
• Lash Extension Certification (classic & volume)
• Waxing and Tinting Certification
• Health & Safety or First Aid Certification (advantageous)
