This role requires a proven history of success in business to business sales within heavy industrial engineering, mining or related sectors. The role involves building a robust pipeline and closing complex deals.
Key Focus and Responsibilities
Proven sales success - Demonstrate a solid track record of achieving and exceeding demanding sales targets through proactive prospecting and strategic account growth.
Self motivated opportunity development - Act as a driven, results orientated self-starter. Must be able to independently develop new business opportunities from initial contract to final contract closure.
Strategic solution selling - Employ an "outside the box" approach to developing complex client solutions. This includes proactively working with Parnis engineering and technical teams to craft integrated offerings (eg. full service refurbishment or complete turnkey projects) that maximise value for the client.
Experience and skills required
- Sales track record: Minimum of 5 to 10 years successful sales experience selling high value products or services directly to mining, petrochemical, or power utility end users. Demonstatable evidence of sales success and achievement of outcomes is essential.
- Industrial knowledge: Strong understanding of the heavy engineering operating market.
- Entrepreneurial acumen: Excellent interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills to build trust and effectively close deals.

- Experience with HCM (e.g., Workday) or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.
