Assist the Sales & Marketing Director in evaluating and identifying trends in sales by analysing complex data and generating meaningful reports to develop actionable steps in improving revenue generation and continued profitability. Maintain data integrity of all sales-driven information.
Duties & Responsibilities- Masterfiles
- Intimate knowledge of all masterfiles & Masterfile categories relevant to Sales.
- Customer masterfiles, sales pricing structures, discount matrix, special pricing.
- Continuous improvement on models & profitability by enhancing models.
- Order Book
- Process Owner for the Order Book.
- Ensure data is relevant and updated timeously.
- Scrutinise content of the order book & drive improvements with various department heads.
- Provide month-end analysis & reporting as required by Finance.
- EMEA / Regional Reporting
- Understand sales categories as required by EMEA definition.
- Ensure local entity is always aligned with Global definitions.
- Provide month-end sales reporting by market and by product to finance.
- Track & monitor the price increase effects versus budget. Provide reports to finance.
- Analyse the reports & identify risk areas and trends to the Sales & Marketing Director.
- Budgets/Forecast
- Preparation & collation of data from Sales Heads of Departments.
- Monthly assistance in formulating sales forecasts and presenting to finance.
- Preparation of sales budget templates as required by EMEA.
- Procedures
- SOX champion for Sales procedures.
- Ensure compliance and optimal efficiencies in all sales procedures.
- Adhoc
- Adhoc requests from Executive Leadership & Sales department managers.
- Perform other duties as and when required.
- Overtime as and when required.
- Ability to work with people from a diverse cultural background.
- Able to speak and write the English language.
- Relevant tertiary education.
- A solid grasp of reporting techniques, databases.
- As this is a dynamic role, the applicant should be up to date with current data mining trends and tools (SQL, no SQL, Qlikview, Power BI).
- 3-5 years’ experience as a Sales Analyst and/or Data Mining in an established organisation.
