Responsibilities:

1. Conduct investigations, document and make recommendations to more effectively ensure Controls are optimal and Risks are eliminated across all new implementations.
2. Provide assurance that pre-implementation processes and checks are in place.
3. Assess and document all risks of non-compliance and complimentary manual controls to minimize financial, legal and tax exposures.
4. Work closely with other teams and managers in other locations to share key initiatives and best practices on SAP implementation and controls automation.
5. Provide risk management support and guidance to the project team, business and across multiple divisions.
6. Understand risk profile and key business processes.

Requirements:

1. CA(SA)
2. SAP Project implementation, Risks and Control experience.
3. Proactive management and participation in the assessment of ethics, compliance and commercial risks.
4. Project management skills.

What you'll do:
As a Finance Risk and Controls Manager, you will play a crucial role in identifying risks within the finance function, designing strategies to mitigate these risks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for monitoring the effectiveness of the control framework, identifying potential financial risks across various areas of the activities, and ensuring these risks are adequately addressed. Your role will also involve automating existing manual controls to improve efficiency, owning and developing our internal controls framework, and liaising with both internal and external auditors.

• Advise on and assess risks, prioritisation and deployment of the Finance resources and compliance with regulatory/contractual requirements.
• Monitor the ongoing effectiveness of the firm's control framework within the Finance function.
• Identify key financial risks across other areas of the firm's activities and ensure that they are adequately mitigated.
• Work with key stakeholders and SMEs to scope, design, and implement controls to address key risks.
• Automate existing manual controls, enhancing and continuously improving the design and effectiveness of controls.
• Own and develop the internal controls framework, working with both internal and external audit to ensure the effectiveness of the controls are tested.

1. As Senior Analyst, be responsible for supporting the Head of Governance Risk and Controls centre.
