This exciting opportunity is for a vibrant, energetic, and experienced Restaurant Supervisor who will be primarily responsible for jointly managing the Pool Area and Splash Caf, ensuring that every one of our guests receives personalised attention every time.
You will delight our guests by offering trend-setting and innovative products and outstanding service experiences. Providing operational and administrative support to the Pool Manager and team, as well as assisting in achieving operational profitability by driving sales targets and managing costs, will form part of your role.
You will set and maintain standards at the Pool area and Splash Caf, as well as conduct regular guest service, menu, sales and standards training with staff, so that they can offer world-class service to our guests.
Leading teams of people, encouraging teamwork and personal accountability, and thereby promoting staff engagement and retention, as well as managing staff processes such as personal presentation, recruitment, performance, and conduct, will form part of your responsibilities.
Along with your Matric Certificate, you have a relevant qualification from a recognised South African or International Educational Institution and at least 2 years experience in a similar role in a busy, up-market hotel.
You must be flexible and able to work shifts, be computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications, and have an interest in and experience using various hospitality technology suites, such as Micros.
You will bring your polished and professional attitude, alongside your outstanding verbal and written communication skills, to this role. Your extensive knowledge of food and drink, including cocktails, wines, and spirits, will shine as you help deliver exceptional experiences.
