Requirements

We are looking for a dynamic colleague who is eager to learn, who can bring an open and flexible mindset and who has very strong organisational skills.

Of course, there are some non-negotiables:

• You have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent through experience (Master's degree is a plus)
• You have a minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• You are familiar with technical due diligence on SOLAR/BESS and/or WIND projects.
• You are familiar with reviewing and specifically experienced with PV EPC, O&M, PPA and Wind turbine contracts review (EPC, WTG supply contract, O&M, PPA) , as Lender’s/ Owner’s technical advisor.
• You have experience working with Lenders and IPP's (Independent Power Producers).
• You have experience with technical solar and/or wind turbine inspections construction monitoring.
• You have been involved in both feasibility studies and project execution phases, including technical assessments, performance analysis, and system optimization.

In this role, you will take on a pivotal position as a key contact for our customers, overseeing the end-to-end delivery of consultancy projects. With a mix of due diligence and owner’s engineer responsibilities, you will support our clients at every stage of project development - from feasibility to operational monitoring.

Specific responsibilities include:

Technical Due Diligence :

• Lead and manage technical due diligence assignments, advising clients through the financial close phase.
• Assess and mitigate technical risks across project CAPEX, OPEX, and revenue forecasts.
• Coordinate with legal, insurance, and financial advisors to ensure comprehensive project evaluations.
• Review and negotiate key contracts (e.g., EPC, O&M, PPA, and Wind Turbine Generator Supply agreements) for both solar and wind projects.

Owner’s Engineer Services :

• Oversee project feasibility studies, providing detailed technical input from preliminary assessments to full economic analysis.

Procurement Manager

RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Manager to join our client's team in the renewable energy industry. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies to support our client's renewable energy projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials, equipment, and services for renewable energy projects.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships to secure the best pricing, quality, and delivery.
• Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and align procurement processes with project timelines and budgets.
• Monitor and track procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and delivery schedules, to ensure compliance with project requirements and organizational policies.
• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, technologies, and suppliers in the renewable energy industry.
• Develop and maintain a database of pre-qualified suppliers and contractors.
• Manage supplier performance and address any issues or concerns that may arise.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procurement policies.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the renewable energy industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing procurement processes and achieving cost savings.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of renewable energy technologies and industry trends.
• Experience in managing supplier relationships and performance.
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in the renewable energy industry.

Benefits

Quantity Surveyor

Reference: NES -Phind-1

The Quantity Surveyor reports to the Group CFO and plays a crucial role in maximizing project margins and adding value to the construction process through proactive involvement in procurement, cost management, and reporting. The Quantity Surveyor will drive best value from suppliers and subcontractors, conduct monthly financial reviews on projects, forecast final outturn values for cost, sales, and margin, and manage timely submission and negotiation of final accounts.

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities and Duties:
The Quantity Surveyor will:

• Prepare cost analysis based on architectural drawings, engineering estimates, materials required, and labor involved.
• Prepare cost plans to facilitate practical designs for construction projects, liaising with architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
• Evaluate tenders from contractors and subcontractors and negotiate contracts where appropriate.
• Control all project stages within predetermined budgets and expenditures.
• Monitor project progress, measure and value variations in the work, and ensure commercial controls are in place.
• Provide commercial and contractual advice to project staff, review and draft correspondence.
• Certify subcontractor monthly valuations and final accounts.
• Collaborate with project staff and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
• Produce accurate formal reports within specified business timelines.
• Supply relevant information to senior management for review as required.
• Assist with other duties as necessary.
