About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Lead to join our dynamic team in South Africa. This role will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence within our client-facing campaign execution work. You will lead a team overseeing day-to-day campaign management, media execution, creative execution, and campaign reporting for brands on behalf of our retail clients.

  • Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to drive qualified traffic and increase brand visibility.
  • Manage SEO efforts including keyword research, on-page and off-page optimization, and monitoring results.

  • Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights to enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Oversee social media marketing strategies, including creating content calendars and scheduling posts.
  • Manage PPC campaigns and optimize for conversion rates while keeping track of budgets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design and sales to ensure cohesive branding.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends and adjust strategies accordingly.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 3+ years of experience working in digital marketing roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO, PPC, social media marketing, and email marketing.
  • Experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.) to track and report on campaign performance.
  • Strong content creation and copywriting skills.
  • Proficient with marketing automation and CRM systems.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Creative thinker with a results-driven approach.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in the recruitment or HR industry is a plus but not essential.
  • Strong familiarity with basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva) is a plus.

The Digital Marketing Specialist is a strategic member of the iFundi marketing team and will be responsible for developing, overseeing and optimizing digital marketing initiatives to maximize brand awareness, ecommerce sales and lead conversion through paid ad channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and Execute Digital Marketing Campaigns.
  • Administer Websites & Publish Content
  • Monitor & Optimize Marketing Campaigns
  • Use data analytics to measure, analyze, and report on campaign performance.
  • Advanced knowledge of Search engine optimization (SEO)
  • Website administration and content publishing
Requirements
  • Google Certified.
  • Digital Marketing Qualification.
  • 3-5 years of experience in developing and implementing digital marketing strategies
  • Strong proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, Facebook Ads and LinkedIn Ads
  • Strong knowledge and experience of all different digital marketing channels, online marketing tools and best practices
  • Proven record of successful budget management and management of advertising channels to
  • meet target KPIs thresholds necessary.
