PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
The Maintenance and Reliability Manager will manage the maintenance of company assets within all applicable laws and procedures while achieving maximum plant reliability and availability performance and lowest overall costs through high maintenance efficiency. In this role, you will provide leadership, technical knowledge, and collaboration with operations to ensure integration of maintenance services in the attainment of short- and long-term facility and group objectives. You will champion a cultural change focused on increasing plant reliability and performance efficiency, while minimizing unscheduled plant interruptions and reducing scheduled downtime using continuous improvement tools to optimize the company's physical assets, processes, and strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or National Diploma in mechanical engineering with 5 years experience.
- Minimum of 4 years experience in Management role.
- Experience managing multiple crafts (predictive maintenance and planning MRO stocks, etc.)
- GCC Factories.
- Other minimum qualifications may apply.
- 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Food/Feed manufacturing experience is preferred, solvent based vegetable oil extraction experience is a plus.
Duties
- Develop and improve preventive maintenance programs.
- Use reliability engineering tools to improve asset health and operational reliability.
- Coordinate and integrates with other plant functions to provide support.
- Ensure work is performed following safety guidelines to ensure health and wellbeing of employees.
- Comply with food safety requirements.

This role is critical to ensuring that our engineering and QA teams have stable, reliable, and production-representative environments to support continuous integration, testing, and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain the health, stability, and configuration of all non-production environments.
- Coordinate environment refreshes, data resets, and configuration updates in alignment with development and release cycles.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for environment-related issues, outages, and requests.
- Plan and manage the provisioning and decommissioning of environments as needed.
- Collaborate with DevOps, QA, Security, and Infrastructure teams to ensure environments mirror production where appropriate.

Scope of Position:
Reporting to the Chief Engineer, the maintenance manager plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the hotel. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the effective running of the plant by implementing, overseeing and coordinating a proper preventative mechanical and electrical maintenance plan.
- The plan must also include upgrade of existing equipment to improve efficiency.
- Management and technical guidance of mechanical and electrical teams to ensure effective running of the facility and standby personnel.
- Establishes standards and policies of installation, modification, quality control, testing, operating procedure, inspection, and maintenance of equipment, according to engineering principles and safety regulations.
- Directs and ensure maintenance of buildings and premises.
- Management and planning of engineering projects.
- Manage the health and safety of the department according to policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in workshop management in a food manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in plant engineering and maintenance.
- Experience in electrical systems.
- Workable knowledge of Computer – Inventor, MS Word, MS Projects, Excel and INTACCT.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety relevant to workshop practice.
- Experience in HACCP and FSSC quality systems.
