The Regional Sales Manager reports directly to the Head of Sales for AA Dealer Services and is tasked with achieving and surpassing the company's business development objectives by effectively executing the Motor Dealer sales strategy in the region. In this role, the manager actively contributes to the leadership team in developing and implementing strategic goals while delivering outcomes by enabling their team with the resources, skills, and motivation to perform at a high level. This responsibility includes overseeing sales targets and cultivating relationships with selected motor dealers at the regional level, all while embodying the HFS values of Integrity, Passion, Diversity, Growth, and Care.
Key Responsibilities- Responsible for assisting the Head of Sales with developing and implementing the AAIDN strategy.
- Grow the AAIDN network throughout the destinated region.
- Lead the AADS regional team in accordance with the Legitimate Leadership philosophy (principles of care and growth), as well as all other aspects of leadership and management applicable to leading a team in AAFS
- Responsible for developing and ensuring that the business exceeds its annual business plan targets.
- Ensure that there is appropriate succession planning within the AADS team.
- Ensure compliance with all industry related regulations / laws and best practice corporate governance.
- Manage communication with key stakeholders.
- Give strategic advice and report results and findings to Head of Sales.
- Keep all relevant stakeholders informed of developments in line with the business objectives.
- Manage resources, including the attracting, hiring and retention of personnel.

- Continuous monitoring of the annual budget and ensure that regional revenue/sales targets are met.
- Manage and report on the effective implementation of a marketing strategies to maintain market relevance and promote products and services to increase sales.
- Maintain the quality of products, services, customer support and level of service in line with service level agreements and other retention strategies.
- Understand and interpret the continually changing signals both inside and outside AADS to ensure that the business responds timeously and adequately to opportunities and threats.
- Be a role model of the HFS Leadership Principles.
- Be the custodian of ethics, integrity and accountability within AADS.
- Responsible for planning, objective setting, contribution charters and performance metrics for the Dealer Sales Consultants
- Define and drive the implementation of sales initiatives for the Dealer Consultants’ dealer business to maximise sales growth.
- Assist and guide the dealer Sales Consultants with their sales roll out and servicing the regional accounts.
- Build sustainable relationships within the dealer industry and identify and maximize growth opportunities within the AAIDN strategy.
- Lead the regional Dealer Sales teams in the dealer industry, providing leadership, management of targets, performance management and customer service.
- Leadership and development of staff on a regional basis.
- Recommend service and product enhancement to improve the sales potential and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure the delivery of targets through individual recognition, performance review, people management and reward.
- Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of the company’s relationship with them.
- Plan for the achievement of individual and regionals targets in alignment with the strategies and policies of the company - AAIDN.
- Establish sales objectives by projecting expected sales volume and forecasting and developing sales quotas for the region.
- Keep current with economic indicators, changing trends, supply and demand and competitors to maintain sales volume and product mix.

In this role, you will play a key role in expanding our sales activities across Sub Saharan Africa and moving closer to end customers. This is a high-energy position, requiring high flexibility, proactive and persistent interactions with clients. You will have the unique chance to be part of the emerging drone industry and become an expert on various applications. This role can be pursued remotely from anywhere in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Midrand or Centurion.
Responsibilities- As the Regional Sales Manager, you will manage and develop distribution partnerships across the region (Sub-Saharan Africa) as well as close direct business together with our dealers
- You will generate new distribution partnership leads, negotiate distribution agreements, close deals
- You will develop sales strategies to expand Wingtra’s footprint in the market
- Expand relationships by continuously proposing solutions that meet our customers objectives
- Learn about customer use cases, market opportunities and post-process customer learnings for Wingtra’s strategy development
- Develop relationships with prospective customers (inbound & outbound) to identify their potential needs and qualify them as sales opportunities
- Being a strong promoter of our product and brand on the target market
- Create and maintain customer data in CRM tools (Hubspot)
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in B2B sales or equivalent business development experience
- Strong network in and familiarity with the mining industry
- The ability to demonstrate a strong aptitude for both selling to target customers and at the same time building lasting relationships with distribution partners
- Comfortable driving both large enterprise opportunities with long sales cycles and dynamically closing smaller faster-paced inbound opportunities
- Experience providing solutions based on customer needs
- Tech savviness working with Hubspot or other CRM and communication tools
- Persuasive, independent, at ease negotiating and developing trust
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English
