Summary: Position Overview
The Record to Report & Sustainability Analyst is a member of the Global Record to Report team reporting to the Southeast Africa Local Entity Controller Director. The analyst will support and review end-to-end accounting processes and ensure the sustainability agenda is achieved for specific legal entities within The Coca-Cola Company. The role involves creating new monitoring routines and establishing collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. The position requires adopting best practices and driving continuous improvement across the organization.
What You Will Do:
- Support our Managed Service Provider (MSP) team during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
- Manage exceptions, review, and approve Record-to-Record transactions including journals, intercompany, fixed assets, and project system requests.
- Provide data inputs, manage exceptions, and review and approve corporate submissions such as Balance Sheet narratives, Cashflow Actuals, and quarterly/year-end supplemental schedules.
- Handle exception management, review, and approval of high-risk reconciliations, and conduct Balance Sheet reconciliation risk reviews with Financial Services clients/stakeholders.
- Manage the sustainability compliance agenda by working with the Global Record to Report Regional Sustainability Reporting Directors to oversee metrics for legal entities, ensuring compliance with all sustainability directives and regulatory requirements globally.
Role Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Knowledge of sustainability requirements and reporting is a plus.
- Ability to understand complex transactions, research relevant technical guidance, and interpret/apply it.
- Ability to translate data and findings into actionable recommendations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence others.
- Experience working in a complex team environment, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively, exercising initiative.

- Computer literacy in MS Excel, MS Word, and JDE.
