Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out and oversee quality inspections during all production stages

  • Identify trends and support quality improvement initiatives

Requirements :
  • Relevant qualification in quality management or related field
  • Minimum 3 years experience in quality control, preferably in furniture or manufacturing

  • Previous supervisory or mentoring experience
  • Strong understanding of quality control standards and procedures
Remuneration:

2.3 Process and product capability Monitoring and Improvements.

- Process and Product audits and follow up of corrective actions for internal/ISO/OE audits.

- Quality Reports - To submit monthly reports to management on the performance of the quality system including internal, external, appraisal, prevention and failure costs for products manufactured.

- Quality record keeping

2.4 To ensure that Quality management systems are implemented and maintained on a continuous basis

to ensure compliance to Customer and OEM process and product requirements.

- ISO TS16949/ISO 9000 -Quality Management System.

- Implementation and maintenance of Quality Core Tools (QMP) in respective departments.

- Implementation of OEM requirements.

- To actively participate in the implementation of new business projects (APQP process).

2.5 Manage Quality Improvement process within all Production areas and processes.

- Improvements towards material quality and process returns.

- Implementations of process check sheets.

- Manage Team leaders/ operator's quality check sheets.

- Internal scrap procedure/ Scrap reduction process.

- Monitor Process release testing.

- FIFO.

- Quarantine areas.

JOB PROFILE (Minimum Qualifications/Requirements):

- A technical diploma (S3 or equivalent)

- Must be qualified quality auditor (VDA6.3, ISO/TS 16949) – non negotiable

- At least 5 years' experience in the automotive manufacturing industry/or qualified related environment.

- Proven quality management skill with the ability to generate and maintain Quality Management System in accordance with ISO/TS 16949.

- Knowledge on the application and implementation of SPC.

- Foundry experience would be an added advantage

- Clear identification of company goals, high initiative and the ability to think positively.

Quality Systems and Compliance

  • Monitor and report production quality performance, including yields, escape rates, and KPIs.
  • Develop and oversee Quality Plans and Product Quality Specifications for customer contracts.

  • Implement and maintain SHEQ systems in compliance with relevant legal requirements.
  • Coordinate internal SHEQ audits, safety committee meetings, and employee training.
  • Oversee incident investigations and corrective actions for near-misses and safety breaches.
  • Conduct evacuation drills, manage hazardous material protocols, and ensure waste disposal procedures are followed.
  • Maintain incident logs, legal registers, and environmental compliance records.

4. Strategic Leadership & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead the development and execution of the Quality strategic roadmap in line with business goals.
  • Initiate improvement projects using 8D, Fishbone, and 5 Whys.
  • Drive innovation in quality tools and systems to enhance data collection and decision making.
  • Align quality initiatives with customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Technology, or related discipline.
  • 5–7 years' experience in Quality Assurance and SHEQ management, ideally in electronics manufacturing.
  • Certified Lead Auditor in ISO 9001; ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 knowledge preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of IPC-A-610/620, PCBA inspection techniques, and electronics manufacturing standards.
  • Proficient in root cause analysis, QMS software, MS Office, and data interpretation.
  • Proven leadership in cross-functional teams, training, and conflict resolution.
  • Advanced competency in KPI reporting, quality documentation, and compliance monitoring.
