- Registration with HPCSA as a Clinical Technologist (Independant Practice) or registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse/Midwife is essential.
- Degree in Nursing or Degree in Clinical Technology: Nephrology is essential.
- Post Graduate qualification within a specialist area in nephrology a must.
- Relevant experience in the field Nephrology will be preferred.

You will lead all quality efforts, from test strategy and tooling to hands-on coaching and process improvement. Responsibilities
- Owning and driving the overarching quality vision and strategy for our software products.
- Defining and continuously refining the quality roadmap with short-term and long-term objectives.
- Establishing and evolving quality standards, processes, and frameworks adapted to our tech stack (PHP back end, JavaScript front end using Angular and VueJS).
- Implementing performance tests to track the continuous improvement of our products.
- Coaching software engineers on writing meaningful unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, including what makes a test valuable, when to use each type of test, and how to approach test coverage pragmatically.

Requirements
- Must have extensive experience in Quality Test Engineering.
- Have a BS in Engineering/Computer Science degree or equivalent.
- Must have proven experience in quality engineering leadership roles, especially in cross-functional or agile teams.
- Have solid experience in automated testing frameworks, including Cypress.
- Have hands-on experience with unit, integration, E2E, and exploratory testing.
- Have demonstrated ability to guide software engineers and product managers on quality best practices.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, Industrial Enginnering (or international equivalent) related to environmental, safety, health, education, or a science-related discipline and less than 1 year of relevant experience.
Required Knowledge and Skills:- Technical knowledge of computer-based training development software, Ms Office package.
- Technical knowledge of desktop publishing software Adobe Suite, web developer SharePoint, FrontPage programming code, and incorporation of Flash in training products.
- Knowledge of learning and development systems, applications for both ES&H and automation methods, and the application of computers to associated process improvement tasks.
- Knowledge of regulatory and industry standards and criteria relevant to ES&H learning and development needs.
- Good knowledge of computer illustrations and web design packages.
- General knowledge of writing and producing training, marketing, and communication tools.
- Work familiarity with Bechtel's environmental, safety, and health processes and procedures (for internal or former Bechtel candidates).
- Demonstrated skill in oral and written communication and in preparing clear and complete correspondence.

About The Role
As a Quality Engineering Lead you will champion software quality across three key products (Closd, Jarvis, CaseLawAnalytics), working closely with international teams located in France and South Africa. You will lead all quality efforts, from test strategy and tooling to hands-on coaching and process improvement. You will play a pivotal role in shaping a quality-first mindset, supporting both engineers and product teams in delivering robust, testable, and resilient software.
Responsibilities
- Owning and driving the overarching quality vision and strategy for our software products.
- Defining and continuously refining the quality roadmap with short-term and long-term objectives.
- Establishing and evolving quality standards, processes, and frameworks adapted to our tech stack (PHP back end, JavaScript front end using Angular and VueJS).
- Implementing performance tests to track the continuous improvement of our products.
- Coaching software engineers on writing meaningful unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, including what makes a test valuable, when to use each type of test, and how to approach test coverage pragmatically.
- Supporting the Product team in producing well-defined, testable user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Coordinating test writing across the team and lead test campaigns before major releases, working in cooperation with the DevOps team.
- Defining and tracking key quality metrics (test coverage, test reliability, regressions, escaped defects, etc.) and reporting regularly on quality trends, risks, and opportunities to leadership and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Must have extensive experience in Quality Test Engineering.
- Have a BS in Engineering/Computer Science degree or equivalent.
- Must have proven experience in quality engineering leadership roles, especially in cross-functional or agile teams.
- Have solid experience in automated testing frameworks, including Cypress.
- Have hands-on experience with unit, integration, E2E, and exploratory testing.
- Have demonstrated ability to guide software engineers and product managers on quality best practices.
- Have excellent communication, cross-team collaboration, and change management skills.
- Be familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, test environments, release workflows, and experience with PHP, VueJS, Angular, .NET is a plus.
