• 3 to 5 years of experience in software testing

We are seeking a motivated and detail-orientated individual to join our team as a Junior QA tester. In this position, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our hardware and software testing methodologies, conduct tests on various components and assist with troubleshooting hardware and software related problems.Additionally, you will work closely with QA/R&D/Dev team to test newly released software and apply relevant testing methodologies to create test plans, execute those plans, identify any defects, and provide thorough and detailed feedback to the team.

• Conduct tests on mobile devices to ensure hardware and software functionality
• Conduct QA testing to those mobile devices to ensure they meet the companies' standards.
• Report defects or concerns to the relevant team members for defect resolution.
• This may include investigations of bugs/faults reported by clients and/or stakeholders and involves both hardware and software.
• Testing of updated firmware versions on hardware which has already been onboarded to the Instacom product suite to ensure compatibility with our software suite.
• Testing of hardware and software to be onboarded to the companies’ product suite and ensure compatibility with the companies' goals and requirements.
• Assist in creating and maintaining documentation of the hardware being tested and its suitability and compatibility with our existing product suite.
• Collaborate with a cross functional team in completing and testing sprint milestones for products, features, bugs, etc. for use by our stakeholders.
• General product support for internal teams
• Assist with QA testing of both Portal and Mobile Software

• Qualification in the software and hardware testing field such as ISTQB/SASTQB qualification is advantageous.
• Basic understanding of software testing required.
• Strong troubleshooting ability.
• Capable of working at a fast pace.
• Good communication and team collaboration skills.
• Previous IT, Hardware testing, software testing experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of the Instacom Product suite advantageous.
