We are looking for a dynamic and experiencedIP Senior Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will lead and deliver consulting services across project engagements, provide mentorship to junior team members, and build strong client relationships that support long-term growth and revenue generation.
LOCATION: Observatory, Cape Town
TITLE: Intellectual Property Consultant
LEVEL: Mid Level Associate
JOB TYPE: Full Time (Hybrid)
US WORKING HOURS: 1pm SA time to 10pm SA time
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in Intellectual Property , with a focus on patents and trademarks.
- 5+ years of experience working withsoftware applications and technology solutions .
Key Responsibilities:
Intellectual Property Expertise:
- Stay current on IP practices, market trends, and client needs, with a strong understanding of the IP landscape, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. Familiarity with top IP vendors is essential.
Project Management:
- Manage and oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time delivery and client satisfaction.
Resource Allocation:
- Identify and assign appropriate resources for each project to ensure successful execution.
Solution Development:
- Contribute to the design, development, testing, and implementation of client-focused solutions.
Client Engagement:
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients to drive satisfaction, repeat business, and revenue growth.
Standardization:
- Promote and implement consistent methodologies and best practices across all engagements.
Forecasting & Reporting:
- Provide timely and accurate forecasts and updates on project status, account health, and revenue projections.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Support internal team communication, mentor junior team members, and contribute to staff development initiatives.
Product Knowledge:
- Develop expertise in Morae’s suite of products and services, including contract management solutions, document management platforms, and AI-enabled legal technologies.
