As an experienced Property Finance Consultant, you will be responsible for actively prospecting potential home loan clients through lead providers (agents and originators) and through personal marketing and people engagement opportunities. You will use appropriate needs analysis-based selling techniques to either switch clients from other financial institutions or offer them new home finance packages that are tailor-made and accompanied by the firm’s exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Source potential clients.
2. Identify needs.
3. Match relevant product package to relevant need.
4. Explain the LOA (Final Grant) and close the deal.
5. Maintain customer contact and follow-up.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Minimum of 3 years (external sales/hunting sales) Financial Sales/Home loan sales/Property Sales experience required.
2. Stable career track record will be required.
3. One must have a clear credit and criminal record.
4. Minimum 2 years proven track record in an external sales/hunting sales environment (sales leagues/rankings; records, and achievements).
5. Must have operated in an environment that requires proactive prospecting (a hunter). Must have worked in a pressurized sales environment.
6. Exceptionally strong admin skill set.

Requirements:

• A completed Degree in Operations, Sales and Marketing
• 6 Years relevant experience in the property industry
• Previous experience working as a Property Consultant / Portfolio Leasing Coordinator or similar
• Experience managing both commercial and retail properties
• Experience working with MDA property management system
• Strong reporting skills – required to present weekly and monthly reports, including reports on Letting Activity, Tenant retention, budgets, and Vacancy Analysis
• Good Communication Skills - both verbal and written
• Ability to speak Xhosa would be an advantage
• Good Literacy and Numeracy Skills
• Strong leadership characteristics

Responsibilities include:

• Building relationships and networking with key property professionals (including but not limited to: Property brokers, Property valuers, Landlords and Tenants)
• Facilitating and negotiating the conclusion of new lease agreements
• Formulating marketing strategies to maximise portfolio occupancy
• Managing the portfolio vacancy in accordance with budget, developing a business plan covering leasing and marketing
• Project Management
• Sound knowledge of HR processes, systems, practises and legislation
