You will be reporting into the Promotions Operations Manager
Your responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with the Marketplace Promotional Buyers to support them in procuring and briefing deals from sellers for promotional campaigns, and managing the Product Briefing Process with sellers.
- Review performance of promotional activities and drive continuous improvement of Sales performance.
- Supporting the team with administrative functions linked to vetting and loading Daily Deals and Promotions.
- Record & report exceptions, queries and technical issues to internal stakeholders.
- Check pricing, availability, selection & appropriateness of products.
- Record & report required marketing material to internal stakeholders.
- In executing the above tasks, ensure that promotional KPI's are met:
- Increased new buyers
- Increased GMV
- Increased profitability
- Increased sell-through
- Increased marketplace participation
Attributes required:

Qualifications and Experience:
- A Bachelors Degree or Advanced Diploma in a related field is required (Retail or Commerce).
- 1-2 years related retail / commerce experience.
- Competency in MS Office packages, particularly Excel.
- E-commerce experience preferable but not an absolute requirement.

Events Planning
Compile a list of bespoke "event types" for PCS events. For example, a wine and portfolio pairing event, whiskey tasting events, events that would appeal to a high-net-worth client and would be used to attract other similar people that are not currently clients.
Design appropriate invitations.
Ensure the invitations are delivered to the client concerned using the compamy tools.
Collate RSVPs.
Where relevant setup and assist with the execution of campaigns via xPlan with the appropriate post campaign analysis.
Assist with presentation content.
Venues
Source venues according to event type.
Suggest menus for each event, food and drinks.
Arrange menus, AV, décor, and presenters.
Ensure that internal branding is at the venue and can be prominently displayed in collaboration with regional representatives where appropriate (i.e. Operations Manager / Assistant / CRM).
Arrange the registration process at the events and arrange that the registration process is run by our local offices when possible.
Handover of the events
When all planning and arrangements are completed, they will be handed over to the Head of Marketing who will attend the events and make sure they run smoothly.
Post-event
Develop a post-event follow-up with attendees.

Compile an event budget process
Assist in requesting quotes and costing per event where needed.
Maintain and keep the budget updated per event.
