Our Client, a Global Tech firm, is seeking a Project Manager – ERP and SDLC to join their team in PE on a contract basis. They offer stability, growth, attractive rates, and a great working environment.

The Senior Client Project / Programme Manager leads and directs concurrent client projects classified as standard or complex. An ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Project Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the successful implementation of an ERP system within an organization. Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Management:

Required Experience:

This role seeks a self-motivated candidate to manage engineering projects end-to-end across Thames Water’s operational sites and estate.

We expect you to manage all aspects of each CAPEX project, including initial scoping of the need, competitively tendering the work, contractor procurement, site set up and inductions: health and safety inspections, commissioning, training and handover to the operations teams.

Please note that the internal job title for this role is ‘Project Engineer’ within the Capital Maintenance Project Team.

What you will be doing as an Engineering Project Manager

  • Manage and deliver a portfolio of Mechanical, Electrical and ICA projects, with a typical value between one hundred thousand and £1 mil on per project.
  • Individually responsible for multiple live projects at any time, with further projects in the scoping and tendering phase.
  • We are developing innovative and modern solutions to operational problems, making our sites more efficient and delivering value for money for our customers.
  • Working with our operations teams and contractors to scope, define and cost solutions that are both cost-effective and have minimal risk.
  • Overseeing our zero-compromise health and safety policy for everyone working on your project. Undertake monthly audits.
  • Oversee the construction of each project in line with our in-house policies & procedures, with associated wider industry standards. Fully compliant with CDM regulations and how to apply them.
  • Working collaboratively with delivery partners and contractors to ensure that schemes are delivered on time.
  • Maintaining compliance with our Asset Standards, associated British & International Standards and professional codes of conduct.
  • Financial forecasting of all live projects and reporting on the value of work done. (VOWD).
  • Drafting, vetting and approving pre-construction information, project programs, risk assessments and method statements (RAMS), and construction phase plans. (CPP)
  • Overseeing the commissioning, training and handover of completed projects to the operations teams.
  • Ensuring that completion documents are available and handed over, including test certificates, operation and maintenance manuals, health and safety files, and as-constructed drawings.

For this role, you will receive a car allowance, so a driving licence is required.

Location – Your base location will be Coppermills, as you will look to cover the North West London sites.

This role will require you to travel to multiple sites depending on the project that you are working on. You will be required to have a full driving licence, access to your vehicle and insurance to cover work travel. You will receive a car allowance, which is paid monthly.

Working Hours – Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week.

What you should bring to the role

  • Preferably have a background in Engineering, such as Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering.
  • Formal qualifications within these sectors are strongly encouraged. Ideally holding at least a BTEC/HND in a relevant discipline or the relevant experience.
  • Or have knowledge of Clean Water Processing and/or Wastewater treatment.
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
  • This includes internal colleagues, site employees and external contractors.
  • Additionally, you will have the ability to work with minimum supervision, be self-motivated and driven, and use your initiative to deliver high-quality work.
  • Understanding of Health and Safety standards, with particular reference to construction works, including CDM. However, additional training will be provided.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage capital projects through all phases including pre-feasibility study, conceptual design, execution planning, detailed engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, optimization, and close-out.

  • Provide technical engineering and project management oversight for the design, installation, and maintenance of plant systems.

Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities

· Maintain and improve ATM uptime
o Timeous attendance to callout calls
o Timeous repairs of ATMs in the designated areas
o Weekly servicing of low performing sites
o First time resolution on callout sites, no repeat calls

· Ensure quality of new switch-on’s
o Programming and configuring of new sites within the prescribed SLAs
o Conduct client training

· Stock management
o Ensure optimum boot stock
o Book in faulty parts and replace with fixed parts
o Ensure backup parts are available and in good working order at all times

· Admin
o Complete all job cards timeously
o Complete downtime report monthly
o Complete monthly stock take report and submit before the end of each month
o Ensure open tickets are managed at a minimum

· Comply with assigned project deadlines according to SLA per project
· Follow Field Policy and Procedures regarding vehicle usage, cellphone usage, petrol card, and Tools of trade

Desired Experience & Qualification

· Matric or NTC 3 Electronics Certificate
· A/N Diplomas/certificates or ND Electronics
· Currently working on MS Office (Excel and Outlook)
· Must have a valid driver’s license
· Field Support with a minimum of 2 years on-the-job driving experience
· Min 1 to 2 years of electronic and/or mechanical experience (printer repairs, dispensers, photocopiers, etc.)
· Electronic component testing
· Ability to work over weekends, standby, and overtime
· English written and verbal proficiency
· Min 1 year Customer Service experience
· Excellent clear and comprehensible communication skills
· Previous experience in training customers on new products
· Experience and/or ability to learn new applications quickly – industry software and handheld applications
· Comfortable to work in rural and remote areas
· Able to work extended hours and perform weekend duties when required
· Regional Support - Ability to work and stay in remote areas for periods of up to a week
