- Developing and maintaining robust cost accounting systems to meticulously track and analyse company expenditures.

Four month contract. The Project Manager will be responsible to align the operational and ERP systems and to lead the system development and implementation projects related to stock management and fixed asset creation in line with company policies and industry best practices. The ideal candidate is exceptionally detail-oriented, hands-on and able to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously. This is not a typical finance reporting and compliance role but is operationally focused to implement systems, processes, controls and procedures to support the business objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Reconcile jobs between the operational and ERP systems and resolve identified differences
- Manufacturing build history audit and maintenance
- Perform root cause analysis on differences identified and drive system and process enhancements with consultants and internal departments to prevent reoccurrence, creating robust systems, integrations and processes.
- Implement, standardise and document process flows and standard operating procedures
- Establish and implement relevant KPIs to monitor compliance
- Will be responsible to align the operational and ERP systems and to lead the system development and implementation projects related to stock management and fixed asset creation in line with company policies and industry best practices
- Reporting to Director's review to make sound business decisions
- Ensuring all project closure
- Working with the operational, IT and finance team
- Improving stock and asset control procedures
- Ad hoc tasks of strategic nature as required by the Executive Directors
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant or CIMA
- 7+ years of proven operational finance management experience
- Operational experience in a manufacturing / distribution environment
- Proven ability to implement systems, process and improvement initiatives
- Strong knowledge of operational Performance Indicators (KPIs) relating to stock and fixed asset management
- Implementing best practice policies
- Strong project management
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effectively multitask

- Tractebel is primarily an Owner’s Engineer, who provides technical, design, project management and problem solving support to its Clients. The Project Managers in our team work closely with Project Engineers, Design Engineers and Installation/Construction/Maintenance/Inspection Contractors to co-ordinate engineering efforts and solve problems. - Candidates who are registered with ECSA and/or SACPCMP will have preference.
- Engineering experience who wish to, or have transitioned into Project Management
- 5 years of relevant experience in engineering environments such as:
- Experience in engineering and/or technical project delivery.
- Experience in power generation or energy infrastructure projects (Nuclear, Renewable, Gas-to-power experience preferred
- Proven success at managing multi-disciplinary teams and complex deliverables.
- Minimum of 2 years involved in projects with a Quality-Cost-Time focus
- A Project Manager who can also fulfil the role of Project Engineer
- Versatile, with a can-do attitude and eagerness to learn within and across domains.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and in teams.
- Resilient and proactive in fast-paced, dynamic project environments.
- Proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
- Familiarity with contract execution, cost control, and stakeholder coordination.
- Understanding of quality management systems and processes

Your key job responsibilities as the Project Manager in Johannesburg, South Africa will include:
- Lead Project Launches: Own the coordination of online casino launches, keeping projects on track and ensuring all milestones are delivered on time.
- Client Partnership: Be the go-to contact for B2C clients during the integration phase, offering hands-on support and proactive communication.

- Mitigate Risk: Spot potential issues early and collaborate with relevant teams to develop and implement effective solutions.
- Client Enablement: Train and guide clients on product tools, features, and best practices to set them up for success.
Requirements for this Project Manager job in Johannesburg, South Africa :
- A relevant qualification in Project Management, Business, or similar. Bonus if you have a background in gaming or data analytics.
- 2–4 years in a project management or coordination role, ideally within the online casino or gaming sector.
- Experience working with B2C clients and managing cross-functional teams.
- Top-notch organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
- Clear and confident communicator – both written and verbal – with a knack for building strong relationships.
- A proactive problem-solver with a hands-on, can-do attitude.
