Remuneration
Grade A: R R per annum; Grade B: R R per annum; Grade C: R R per annum (Salary will be determined based on post registration experience as per OSD prescript).
Note on remuneration: to-employer (CTE) remuneration packages for certain occupation-specific dispensations (OSD), the middle-management service (MMS) and contract positions are inclusive of all costs related to service benefits or obligations including basic salary, 13th cheque, medical assistance, housing assistance, pension-fund contributions, etc. MMS remuneration packages are flexible and may be individually structured as prescribed. Where remuneration is not indicated as CTE, employees' service benefits or obligations are funded or co-funded in terms of the applicable prescripts or collective agreements.

Job Description
Vish Services is looking for an experienced Professionally Registered Civil Engineer to lead the delivery of civil infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will oversee design, project management and contract administration, while mentor technical teams and maintaining high-quality standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as Project Leader/Senior Design Engineer on multidisciplinary civil projects
 - Lead project inception and costing with clients
 - Inspection of the project site, developing and defining the scope of work where required.
 - Maintain ISO 9001 quality assurance standards across all deliverables
 - Preliminary investigation, planning and a level of design appropriate to allow decisions on feasibility.
 - Assessment of existing infrastructural elements with the view of informing the project on options of how to integrate existing works with proposed new works.
 - Consultation with authorities having rights or powers of sanction as well as consultation with the public and stakeholder groups.
 - Searching for, obtaining, investigating and collating available data, drawings and plans relating to the works.
 - Investigating financial and economic implications relating to the proposals or feasibility studies.
 - Assist the client to develop timeframes for next stages of the project where required.
 - Implementing projects from stage 1 to stage 6.
 - An ability to manage a team of 5 or more personnel.
 
REQUIREMENTS
Skills and Qualifications:
- BEng (Civil Engineering) or BTech (Civil Engineering)
 - Professionally registered with ECSA or proven to have already applied for ECSA Pr. Eng registration
 - 5 years experience in the design, site supervision, and contract documentation of civil engineering projects.
 - Knowledge, understanding and application of Revit
 - Understanding of quality management system ISO 9001
 - Legal knowledge of contracts and related laws
 - Knowledge of design compliance standards
 - Drivers Licence is essential
 - Ready to travel and supervise other civil works on company projects sites
