Who's who in the tech space

This position reports to the respective team's manager.

As a Software Engineer, you will be someone whose expertise directly translates into the development of robust software in the e-commerce domain . You will be from a computer science background with an emphasis on software development . You will have the opportunity to implement best practices to improve existing software and participate in the development of new features. While we don't promote after-hours work as part of the regular workday, we run a 24/7 business with the need to keep systems up and running. Software Engineers are expected to provide after-hours support on a rotational basis to resolve critical system issues.

• Design and build solutions to assist our business users, and improve customer experience
• Architect and design solutions with your team
• Keep up to date with technology trends
• Apply creative thought processes to solve complex challenges at scale

The skills we need:

• Solutions-oriented, can-do attitude, and high energy

• Capability to present ideas succinctly, in writing and verbally

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma in Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering or equivalent experience in software development.
• A thorough understanding of computer science fundamentals, including object-oriented design, data structures and algorithms
• 3 to 5 years experience in a software development role for an intermediate-level position
• 5 to 10+ years experience in a software development role for a senior-level position
• Experience in writing robust, efficient production code
• Proficient in a strongly typed language such as Python
• Experience with development in a Linux environment
• Experience with SQL database systems
• Open to diversifying language skill set
• Experience in the following will be advantageous:
• MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL
• Memcached, Redis
• Message Brokers, Queues and PubSub systems (e.g. Kafka and RabbitMQ)
• Containerisation (e.g. Docker)
• Orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes)
• GitHub, Travis CI, Jenkins
• AWS, GCP, Azure
• Microservices

A leading multinational pharmaceutical company has an opportunity for an experienced Demand Planner (with SAP ERP experience).

The purpose of this position is to develop and implement Inventory plans that will enable the organization to meet Sales and Service objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Database Management : Ongoing maintenance of the Forecasting, Purchase Orders and Sales Planning database.
2. Reporting : Extraction, generation, and analysis of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly stock reports from the above database, to assess current stockholding, planned orders, sales history, and forecasting of future planned orders.
3. Provide real-time reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, for global reporting purposes.
4. Planning Requirements : Analyze, assess, calculate, and conclude immediate ST and LT planning requirements of individual SKU’s.
5. Ongoing liaison with the Quality department regarding quarantine, short-dated stock, blocked and returned stock, and potential stock releases, to optimize working capital and stockholding levels.
6. Implementation of a finalized demand plan and ongoing liaison with suppliers and other relevant third parties.
7. Engage with distributors in stock receiving, stock holding, reworking of stock, and stock write-offs.
8. Ongoing liaison with agents, to ensure effective forwarding, shipping, clearing, and delivery of stock shipments.
9. S&OP: Drive and facilitate S&OP forum.
10. NPI: Attend and contribute to NPI forum and collate all necessary information, to provide planning analysis to Quality, Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, and Finance teams.
11. PROJECTS: Participation in and contribution to ad hoc Supply Chain optimization projects and initiatives.
12. Warehouse & distribution partner management.

A Supply Chain Manager position has become available to support business strategies and objectives.

Role Objective

Develop and implement a supply chain strategy aligned with business strategy and objectives. Strategically source raw materials consumables and services for Rocbolt Technologies. Optimize inventory including Demand Driven MRP and related systems development. Manage materials warehouses and storemen.

Minimum Requirements

• Relevant 3-year university degree or diploma; CIPS qualification is an advantage.
