Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Project Manager with PRINCE2 certification to lead and manage projects from initiation through to completion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within scope, and within budget. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure project objectives are met and aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution : Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timeline, and resources, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives. Oversee project execution, manage changes, and adapt plans as necessary.
- Stakeholder Management : Engage with stakeholders to define project requirements, set expectations, and ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. Address and resolve any issues or concerns that arise.
- Risk Management : Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and control risks throughout the project to minimize impact on project objectives.
- Budget Management : Prepare and manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial resources are utilized effectively. Provide regular financial reports and forecasts.
- Team Leadership : Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities. Foster a collaborative environment and resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise.
- Quality Assurance : Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to organizational policies and procedures. Conduct project reviews and implement improvements as needed.
- Documentation and Reporting : Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, reports, and status updates. Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders and senior management.
Requirements:
- PRINCE2 Certification : PRINCE2 Practitioner or similar project management certification.
- Experience : Proven experience as a Project Manager with a track record of successfully managing projects from start to finish. Experience in (industry, if applicable) is a plus.
- Skills : Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and risk management. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Technical Knowledge : Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira) and methodologies. Ability to interpret technical requirements and collaborate with technical teams.
- Education : Bachelors degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or additional certifications are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Agile or other project management methodologies is advantageous.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations or standards.
- Experience in managing projects with cross-functional and remote teams.

Position Overview
Project Managers at Vera play a central role in delivering impactful, tech-driven solutions to social impact organizations. They lead consulting project teams, manage client relationships and ensure high-quality outcomes from the sales handoff through delivery and beyond. Project Managers are responsible for developing and executing clear project plans, managing budgets and timelines and steering the overall strategy for each client engagement.
This is a fast-paced consulting environment where priorities can shift quickly, and managing multiple projects at once is the norm. Project Managers must be highly organized, adaptable and confident in switching between tasks, clients and teams – without losing sight of the bigger picture. Confident and professional communication is essential across all channels and stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead End-to-End Project Delivery: Serve as the designated Project Manager on client projects, taking full ownership of planning and execution. Manage project plans, timelines, budgets, scope and risks – keeping everything up to date and ensuring on-time, on-budget, high-quality delivery.
- Ensure Quality and Client Satisfaction : Oversee the work of project teams to deliver high-quality outputs, collaborating with technical leads where needed. Ensure strong client experiences from pre-sales handoff through delivery and post-project collaboration with Customer Success Managers.
- Communicate with Professionalism and Clarity: Act as the main point of contact for clients, maintaining trust through clear, confident and proactive communication. Represent Vera professionally in all interactions – written, verbal and visual – internally and externally.
- Protect Vera’s Commercial Interests: Recognise and escalate risks and challenges early, while also identifying opportunities for further engagement. Ensure Vera’s commercial interests are protected throughout the project lifecycle. Manage resourcing across multiple projects to meet utilization and delivery goals.
- Manage People and Project Teams: Take on people management responsibilities, supporting the performance, well-being and professional growth of assigned team members. Prioritise team health and balanced workloads throughout each engagement.
- Facilitate Collaboration: Lead internal and external meetings – including kickoffs, planning sessions and regular check-ins with Vera teams and client stakeholders.
- Contribute to Growth and Innovation : Support Vera’s business development efforts by contributing to RFP responses, scoping new projects and engaging in sales conversations. Stay current with tools, technologies and best practices that can enhance delivery and client impact.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree – what you studied isn’t critical; what you’re passionate about is
- Formal project management certification (e.g. PMP, Prince2, PMI-ACP, or Scrum certification).
- 3–5+ years of relevant experience, including:
- Managing end-to-end delivery of projects in a client-facing environment
- Working in consulting, professional services or a similarly fast-paced setting with shifting priorities
- Demonstrated experience in project management, including:
- Managing timelines, budgets, scope and risks
- Leading cross-functional teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders
- Using project management tools
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to:
- Communicate professionally and clearly with clients and colleagues
- Manage difficult conversations and set clear expectations
- Manage senior client stakeholders to effective outcomes
- Experience managing or mentoring team members – with an interest in developing people.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities- Ensure that project teams are making appropriate progress and output on a day-to-day basis.

- Solid technical background with experience in software development and web technologies.
- Excellent communication, organization, influence, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, MS Project, Redmine.
- Experience in Agile or Scrum environments is a plus.
- Positive attitude and team spirit.
- Proven ability to mentor and guide teams.
- Ability to manage cross-domain projects in sectors like Real Estate, Healthcare, F&B, Aviation, etc., is advantageous.

Role: Project Manager
About the role:Working in partnership with our, the Project Manager leads creative and digital projects from concept to completion, providing the direction and control required to do this. The Project Manager is responsible for the investigation, and translation of client briefs into a feasible, creative solution using their experience and knowledge of delivering cross platform projects and using smart operational processes and workflow management. You will be looking to understand our clients’ needs and to inspire the creative team to deliver brilliant work in the most effective way and with an outstanding service ethos. Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients, the Project Manager is the key communicator on the status, risks, and challenges of all the project deliverables, inclusive of budget and resource. Reporting to the EMEA Business Director, the Project Manager works alongside the team of creatives. This is a great opportunity to work within a team, creating impactful communications across South Africa and developing design best practices for various brands.
What you will be doing:- Work in true collaboration with the client and be responsible for a seamless successful project outcome
- Develop existing client relationships as part of the business pipeline
- Managing and documenting the triage process for new projects.
- Managing projects from beginning to end with clear communication on a regular basis on milestones, targets, goals and deadlines.
- Organisation of project meetings, communicating and driving actions.
- Attending and contributing to daily / weekly WIP meetings with the on-site team.
- Acting as the lead contact for clients during projects.
- Continuously assessing working methods and processes and making recommendations for improvement.
- Reviewing project resources and providing an analysis on whether they meet the demands of the project
- Ensuring key Service Level Agreements are met by all parties involved
- Overseeing the project’s financial budget, notifying stakeholders of key cost implications, changes to budget, spending and cost changes.
- Working as part of a team to win new business
- 3-4 years’ experience of managing campaigns in a creative, production or social agency.
- Strong proven project management skills and experience.
- Experience creating and updating project plans and regular project status reports.
- Experience + knowledge of delivering cross-platform projects e.g. digital display, website and video – In order to advise in triage of new briefs
- The ability to manage and filter workflow as well as organise and prioritise workloads to maximise productivity
- Considered, assertive and influential; ability to lead, with the skills and aptitude to develop and motivate a team
- Able to think on your feet and make decisions; someone who finds solutions rather than simply reports problems.
- Proactive and adaptable, able to effectively work under pressure
- Experience with stakeholder management and stakeholder communication on projects.
- Experience in prioritizing and effectively managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Highly adaptable to new procedures & systems, and ensuring that these systems are adhered to
- Strong attention to detail and a passion to make sure quality control procedures are adhered to
- Have a positive, can-do outlook, willing to leverage past experience to provide the best solution for each project you own.
- Be unafraid to ask questions and have an innate ability to identify and manage project risk.
- Experience in multiple industry sectors, FMCG and Health is a nice to have.
