Job Description
Full DTP/pre-press function within a large format digital printing company. Mac based.
Must be proficient in:
- Checking of client supplied artwork, quality, sizes etc.
- Being able to judge where print bleed and adding it.
- Knowledge of setting up files for print, cut files for various large format printers and cutting machines.
- Knowledge of point of sale, display systems etc.
- Ability to workunder pressure within a team environment a must
- Phot editing, photo retouching, colour matching to Epsons proofs
- Must have the ability to resolve (creatively if required) any printing issueswhich typically arises in a fast paced printing environment.
Skills:
- Apple Mac Experience
- Qualified DTP Pre Press Operator with a minimum of five years' DTP/Repro experience from the industry - Large format/Digital Printing/Similar Print environment
- Must have strong knowledge of Adobe illustrator, Photoshop, in Design

The role of the Machine Operator in the Packaging Department involves ensuring that Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) procedures are followed during the production of various products. The individual will be responsible for adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) within the production facility and will report to the Fill and Pack supervisors.
