Job Description Macsteel Tube & Pipe is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, and analytical employee to join our dynamic operations team. The role involves overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end production and operations planning process for the MTP Division, ensuring the efficient, cost-effective, and timely production of goods and services in line with customer specifications and operational targets. Monitor performance outputs, variances, and process inefficiencies, recommending remedial actions. Maintain records of planning activities, analyze trends, and ensure compliance with quality and service standards. Financial & Costing Management Develop and manage operational, labor, and capital expenditure budgets. Implement, monitor, and review process costing and profitability analyses. Maintain and update costing for Bill of Material (BOM) items. Monitor working capital requirements for the business unit. Assess variances and implement corrective measures to ensure cost efficiency. Inventory & Warehouse Management Oversee all inventory control processes in line with company policies. Manage full warehousing operations, including stock allocation, storage, and dispatch. Participate in and oversee regular stock takes and maintain accurate records. Maintain good housekeeping standards in the warehouse and production areas. People & Stakeholder Management Lead and supervise operations and planning teams to ensure efficiency and achievement of objectives. Implement people development initiatives such as performance management, succession planning, and training. Foster strong working relationships with internal teams, customers, suppliers, contractors, and relevant authorities. Governance, Compliance and Reporting Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, organizational policies, and SHEQ requirements.
