Minimum Requirements

Job Requirements
- Making sure the workspace and store is neat and tidy
- Consult with clients to understand their photography needs, provide guidance on services, and handle pricing, quoting, and invoicing.
- Manage emails, queries, and orders efficiently, providing prompt responses and updates.
- Prepare and organize all necessary paperwork related to photography orders and consultations.
- Ensure stock of photography supplies is maintained, reordered as necessary, and manage inventory effectively.
- Coordinate with photographers, stylists, and other team members to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met consistently.
- Oversee photography projects, track progress, and communicate regularly with clients to keep them informed.
- Coordinate scheduling for photoshoots, ensuring all equipment and personnel are ready.
- Understand and implement company policies, procedures, and quality standards related to photography services.
- Operate and maintain photography equipment as needed, ensuring all devices are in excellent working condition.
- Provide excellent customer service and set a high standard in professionalism, offering guidance and support to both clients and staff.

The IIE’s Vega, Cape Town Campushas a vacancy for a Part-Time Academic Navigator (Lecturer) in the following module:
- Video and Photography
Job Purpose:
- Lecture based on provided content, ensure students are guided and supported in their learning. Mark student submissions and engage with campus teaching and learning.
Key Performance Areas:
- Prepare for lectures based on provided content. Supplement content with own expertise. Deliver assigned modules to the stated outcomes and contracted hours. Mark student assessments and provide constructive feedback. Support student academic success by implementing workshops where needed. Perform academic admin, such as capturing assessment marks and reporting on student success. Provide content feedback. Engage with professional development opportunities and attend initial training sessions.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
- Ideal:
- Honours qualification (HEQS 8) with Photography as a 3-year stream/ major in undergraduate qualification.
- Experience in different genres of photography and introduction to video for DSLR, understanding natural light, studio, video lighting and speed light photography. Experience with using a LMS to teach in a blended learning context. Sound recording for video. Understand social media application for self-promotion.
Minimum Work Experience Requirements:
- The candidate needs to have a strong portfolio and at least 3 years working experience as a photographer and a social media content creator for video.
- Strong portfolio on different genres of photography as well as video productions (Needs to show active portfolio)
