NACOSA is looking for a dynamic and experienced Human Resources ( HR) Officer to provide comprehensive human resources services to all staff and the HR team, ensuring compliance with HR policies, procedures, and labour legislation, while creating a welcoming and positive employee experience. The duties and responsibilities of the Human Resource Officer will include, but not limited to:

  • Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to staff and management on policies, procedures, and HR-related queries
  • Administer HR documentation, contracts, leave, and employee records in compliance with organisational policies and labour legislation
  • Support recruitment processes, including job postings, screening, interviews, and onboarding of new employees.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and update the HRIS system regularly.
  • Assist in employee relations matters by providing advice, documenting concerns, and supporting resolutions.
  • Support performance management processes and staff development initiatives.
  • Assist with the submission of WSP and ATR reports and ensure compliance with SETA requirements.
  • HR Represent on the EE/SDF Committee.
  • Support employee engagement and wellness programmes.
  • Conduct exit interviews, gather all exit documentation, and submit relevant information to payroll promptly.
  • Respond to general HR queries professionally and in a timely manner.
  • Assist with ad-hoc HR administrative tasks as required.
  • Promote a healthy and supportive culture among management and staff in line with NACOSA values.
