Core Purpose
The purpose of the job is to produce technical deliverables on of large scale multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.
Specific focus on civil Infrastructure design using Civil Designer and/or Civil 3D is a requirement.
To carry out the planning, design, site supervision and construction monitoring for both internal and external civil municipal infrastructure (water, and sewer, roads and stormwater including stormwater management plan) for existing and new developments for both Private and Public Sector Clients.
Compilation of Tender Documentation including Conditions of Contract, Specifications, Bills of Quantities and Tender Drawings.
Key Performance Areas
- Design and prepare detailed documentation for municipal engineering services.
- Plan, organise, and control specific technical tasks to achieve project objectives.
- Work independently on technical deliverables across various project stages.
- Prepare technical reports, design drawings, and presentations for internal and client communication.
- Apply sound knowledge of GCC 2015, SABS 1200, and COLTO specifications in all project work.
- Manage and coordinate the design and documentation of both greenfield and brownfield projects.
- Ensure all work aligns with the company's Quality Management System (QMS) and applicable standards.
- Utilise Civil Designer, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD software effectively for design and documentation purposes.
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders to support collaboration and information sharing.
- Provide technical guidance and contribute to maintaining high-quality engineering standards.
- Keep abreast of developments in technical best practice, design standards, and industry trends.

Qualifications:
- Applicable Bachelor's for BTech degree in Civil Engineering.
- Registration with ECSA (preferred).
Experience:
- 5 or more years' experience with specific Municipal Infrastructure Design experience a pre-requisite.
