Key Roles and Responsibilities:
· Assisting the design team on the development of new products. Conducting the assembly and testing of new products and providing feedback thereof to the necessary individuals.
· Testing of non-conforming products, fault analysis and reporting
· Maintenance and management of all LED Lighting SA's tools, equipment, fixings, PPE and similar goods within a budget.
· Assist in the planning and delivering of new products when directed to do so by the production supervisor.
· Assembly of LED Lighting SA products into housings
· Assist with commissioning of new projects at client sites
· Assist Project Manager with planning project commissioning and installations
· Facilitate product installations and product repairs and maintenance
· Travel nationally to project sites and action on-site installation and repairs
· Liaise with Electrical Contractors and Engineers regarding site requirements and project progress

· Ensure a high quality of work at all times and complete all task timeously

- Ensure Health & Safety practices are always followed wear PPE where applicable.
- Wash and clean chemical mixing tanks at least once a week.
- Chemical dosing equipment needs to be wiped down and cleaned every week.
- Confirm Alkalinity of Stock Solution after every mix and record the result in file.
- Check all feed and delivery chemical lines on a regular basis for leaks / wear and tear. Replace if necessary.
- Chemical diaphragm pumps flow rates must be checked monthly and recorded. Any deviation from the required flow rate must be reported immediately.
- Chemical Peristaltic Pumps flow rates must be done monthly and recorded. Replace worn tubes as and when needed.
- Incoming Recycled Water PH and alkalinity readings to be done 3 x times daily and recorded.
- Daily Alkalinity Checks CBWs Alkalinities need to be done daily on both the Garment and Hospitality CBWs and recorded. Any deviation from the standard / required alkalinities must be reported immediately.
- Weekly Alkalinity checks 200kg Milnors. Alkalinities need to be done weekly at the 200kg Milnors and recorded. Any deviation from the standard / required alkalinities must be reported.
- Guest Laundry / Smaller Washer Extractors Flow Rates and Alkalinities need to be checked and recorded monthly. Replace worn tubes on a as and when needed basis.
- Daily / continuous observation of general quality of the washed linen / garments in the plant. Report any abnormalities immediately.
- Check that machine operators are using the correct wash programs for the classifications processed.
- Regular Reflectometer Readings on linen to be done and recorded.
- As a supplier to the customer respect, honesty and dedication must be always displayed to the customer and General staff.

The iStore Technical Support Technicians are a combination of technically strong individuals with great people skills.
Your role would be to provide technical support to the iStore customers, through trouble shooting, resolving technical issues and software support. You will also provide training and assistance to iStore customers when required as well as exceptional and professional quality support service.
You Need To Have
- Completed Matric and IT qualification (minimum A+/N+)
- Experience in Helpdesk/1st Line Support

- Proven, hands-on experience in the coatings industry.
- Advanced practical skill in spray painting and other coating application techniques.
- A thorough understanding of product mixing ratios, viscosity, and solids content.
- Proficiency in using metric measurements and technical tools to assess coating properties (e.g., wet/dry film thickness gauges, gloss meters).
- A strong eye for the aesthetics of coatings, including an ability to critically assess colour, gloss, texture, and identify defects.
- The ability to accurately understand and interpret customer and salesperson requests and translate them into technical actions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot application issues on-site.
- Accompany Business Development Managers and Key Account Managers to customer sites to provide expert technical support.
- Translate customer and sales team requests into practical technical solutions and product recommendations.
- Precisely prepare high-quality product samples for customer evaluation and for the showroom.
- Draft clear and accurate product specifications and technical data sheets for internal and external use.
- Assist the R&D team by testing new products and formulations, providing detailed, practical feedback on performance and usability.
- Proactively suggest improvements for existing products and application processes.
- Maintain the company showroom.
- Act as the key technical liaison between customers, the sales team, and our lab chemists, clearly communicating product-related issues and customer requirements.
