KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS 1. Kidnapping & Incident Management:
You will work closely with senior consultants, by observing and assisting them during all stages of kidnapping and incident management, from initial assessment to resolution, gaining insight into their decision-making processes and techniques. 2. Case Documentation:
You will be responsible for organising and maintaining case files, including relevant communications, reports, and documentation, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality at all times. 3. Research and Analysis:
Conduct research on global kidnapping trends, relevant legal frameworks, and best practices in crisis management, providing valuable insights to support decision-making and strategy development. 4. Client Communication:
Assist in liaising with clients, government agencies, law enforcement, and other stakeholders, under the guidance of senior consultants, to facilitate effective communication and collaboration throughout the crisis management process. 5. Participating in Training Exercises:
Participate in simulated exercises and training sessions designed to simulate real-life kidnapping scenarios, honing your negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills in a controlled environment. 6. Continuous Learning and Development:

• Apply analytical approaches, processes, and tools to detect proceeds of crime and specifically instances of money laundering and terror financing.
• Interpret information from various systems and records and evaluate information in the context of possible crimes being committed.
• Interact / pursue opportunities with external stakeholders / third parties to discuss findings and obtain information.
• Conduct analysis of various data sets of standard to medium complexity and add value to information received to establish if there are reasonable grounds for disclosure to relevant stakeholders.
• Conduct financial analysis to ensure creation of relevant intelligence products.
• Determine relevance and completeness of information and identify gaps based on experience and judgment.
• Contextualise information according to clients’ needs and prepare relevant reports, including the creation of charts and graphics, to explain findings in matters where there is a suspicion of proceeds of crime, money laundering or terrorist financing.
• Interpret the needs of clients to ensure product output which may inform decision making.
• Generate integrated quality assured products, which are timely and relevant.
• Provide technical input in improving the understanding and knowledge of factors that allow, promote and deter money laundering and terror financing.
• Plan and manage tasking and output under supervision.
• Assist relevant stakeholders through active involvement in joint operations and assist with technical support in instances of priority coordinated team projects.
• Prepare basic court-directed documentation and provide factual testimony in a court of law whenever required.
• Update records and compile statistics related to all tasking.
• Provide input to assist in updating relevant data bases to support/enhance data analysis and improve data mining.

• Relevant University Degree
• At least three years' experience in relevant field
• Sound knowledge in any of the following fields is preferable: financial and information analysis, intelligence, forensics or internal auditing
• Working experience in the following fields will be advantageous: Intelligence, Law, Law enforcement, Accountancy
• Sound knowledge and experience using the Microsoft Office suite and Excel is a prerequisite
• Working knowledge of data analysis applications, tools, and systems will be an advantage
• Anti-money laundering training will be an added advantage

Main Purpose of the Role:

To provide comprehensive HSE support for a complex solar PV construction project by managing HSE systems, performing field inspections, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a strong safety culture among internal teams and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily HSE inspections (80% field work, 20% admin)

• Manage access control systems (e.g. eGEstiona) and update HSE Hub records

• Supervise and enforce health & safety protocols with contractors and site personnel

• Deliver inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing HSE training

• Support and track the implementation of RAMS, PTWs, and improvement plans

• Assist with internal audits, root cause analysis, and investigations

• Prepare and review HSE incident reports and ensure timely close-out of action items

• Develop and maintain HSE documentation and access approvals

• Monitor high-risk activities and ensure proper controls are in place

• Actively participate in daily, weekly, and monthly site HSE meetings

• Support the implementation of contractor management processes, including evaluations and kick-off meetings

• Provide visible field presence, coaching site teams on HSE compliance

Education & Skills Required:

• Relevant certification in Health, Safety & Environment or a related field

• key HSE requirement is SACPCMP – CSHO registered

• 1–3 years of experience in HSE support roles, preferably in renewable energy or construction

• Familiarity with HSE software and platforms such as HSE Hub and eGEstiona

• Solid understanding of HSE regulations and contractor safety protocols

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for reporting

• Basic knowledge of ISO standards and risk assessment practices
