We are searching for a talented, all-rounded NLP Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be reporting to the Lead Engineer and Manager of the AI Division. As an NLP Engineer working in the AI division, you will be focusing on developing cutting edge NLP solutions incorporating LLMs and aiding in developing AI solutions to meet company goals and customer requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Evaluate current and future LLM model developments for product fit.
- Explore and analyse unstructured data such as free form text documents along with structured data such as database tables and csv files through natural language processing.
- Take ownership to drive natural language processing and AI solutions and meet customer requirements.
- Deploying developed NLP solutions on both cloud and edge devices after optimization to meet customer requirements and maintain them to later improve to address additional customer requirements in future.
- Working with the data analytics team to develop data parsing and monitoring processes.
- Work on both internal and external projects.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- MSc in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning or in related fields preferred but candidates with BSc's degree in computer science or related degree are also welcome to apply provided they have a fairly strong technical knowledge and experience in natural language processing.
- At least 2 years of experience in NLP and/or working with LLMs either in academia or industry.
KEY SKILLS
- Strong foundation in Python is integral.
- Understanding of versioning control systems such as Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of core machine learning fundamentals and deep learning algorithms.
- Understanding of LLM models and how to integrate them into production ready systems.
- Experience working with third party LLM APIs.
- Experience with any NLP or LLM frameworks like Langchain or Haystack.
- Experience in training and fine-tuning models.
- Proficiency in Python and related packages like numpy, scipy, PIL, opencv, matplotlib, seaborn, etc.
- Ability to transform brainstormed ideas into working solutions to solve real-world problems.
- Good verbal communication skills for effectively communicating with the team and ability to present information to varied technical and non-technical audiences.
- Must be able to produce solutions independently in an organized manner and also be able to work in a team when required.
PREFERRED CHARACTERISTICS (NOT MANDATORY TO HAVE ALL)
- Experience working with vector databases for information retrieval.
- Familiar with FastAPI or Flask Python frameworks.
- Experience with any machine/deep learning frameworks like Tensorflow, Keras and PyTorch.
- Knowledge in performance, scalability, numerical accuracy and best practices for implementing various solutions.
- Proficiency with edge-computing principles and architecture preferably for NVIDIA Jetson Nano devices.
- Experience in different model optimization techniques apart from hyperparameter tuning to reduce memory usage without hindering the performance for deployment.
- Proficiency with AWS or Azure computing environments.
- Exposure to IoT technology.
- Experience in Agile Application Development and Scrum methodologies to develop efficient, maintainable, readable, and production-ready pipelines.

Role Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Maintenance Engineer to support the upkeep, performance, and evolution of our deployed data science solutions. You will play a key role in ensuring that models, data pipelines, and analytic tools remain robust, reliable, and fit-for-purpose post-deployment. This includes monitoring system performance, identifying technical debt, implementing improvements, and coordinating with data scientists, engineers, and business users to address evolving needs.
Key Responsibilities:
● Monitor and Maintain data science solutions in production (e.g., predictive models, dashboards, pipelines, APIs).
● Diagnose and resolve issues related to data drift, model performance degradation, and infrastructure reliability.
● Automate routine checks and health metrics (e.g., forecast accuracy, pipeline run success, data quality indicators).
● Update and patch data science applications and environments (e.g., dependency updates, version control, deprecation fixes).
