We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Retail Manager to join our team. As the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the sales operations within a specific region. Provide leadership to the assigned region, overseeing retail activities at stores. Reviews and analyzes regional sales and operational records and reports; uses data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and to identify potential new markets.
Duties & Responsibilities- Manage the day to day running of all stores in Gauteng.
- Maximise profits while minimising costs.
- Ensure promotions are run accurately to reduce wastage.
- Ensure colleagues are all working to meet excellent customer care standards.
- Manage and motivate teams to increase sales and ensure efficiency.
- Analyse sales figures and forecast future sales.
- Analyse sales and interpret trends to facilitate planning.
- Conduct appraisals, counselling, and performance reviews.
- Responsible for recruiting and onboarding colleagues.
- Provide or organise training and development of colleagues.
- Ensure standards for quality, customer service, and health and safety are met.
- Resolve health and safety, legal, and security issues.
- Respond to customer complaints and comments.
- Organise special promotions, displays, and events.
- Attend and chair meetings where applicable.
- Communicate internally to colleagues on business performance, new initiatives, and other pertinent issues.
- Conduct regular store visits to assist with continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain awareness of market trends in the retail industry.
- Initiate changes to improve the business.
- Check banking of stores and sign off.
- Stand in for off-duty managers due to leave, sick, or terminations.
- Open new stores and ensure the operating system is to standard.
- Ensure stocktakes occur in absence of managers.
- Ensure store operates according to Nibbly and in2food standard.
- Quarterly evaluations for all stores.
- Co-ordination and maintenance of service providers.
- Preparing, opening, and implementation of new stores.
- Retail / Business Management Diploma or Degree or equivalent qualification.
- Driver’s licence with a reliable car essential.
- At least 3 years’ experience managing a team in the retail environment.
- Experience in opening of retail stores advantageous.
Role will be based in Gauteng. The incumbent is required to attend 2 months of in-person training in Cape Town prior to appointment.

The Registered Nurse Specialist: Disease and Programme Management is to deliver active disease management, care support, coaching, and health education services to medical scheme beneficiaries who are registered for, and live with one or more of the Chronic Disease List (CDL) conditions by integrating the clinical care and self-management aspects.
He/ She will be an integral part of the clinical and disease management teams and will coach beneficiaries on how to achieve and sustain health outcome goals with a reduction in “health years”.
Duties & Responsibilities- Integrates skills and knowledge of pathophysiology, epidemiology, clinical management, conditions, and self-management of chronic conditions into clinical practice.
- Advocates for and communicates about improved quality of care and outcomes for those living with, at risk for, or affected by chronic conditions.
- Performs comprehensive assessments for each patient including emotional and behavioral health.
- Interprets personal health data, develops an individualized care plan based on the patient’s assessed needs and goals, and promotes successful self-management.
- Facilitates follow-up and review of relevant pathology and other disease monitoring tests and interventions by engagement with the patient and/or treating service provider subject to the registered care plan or upon request.
- Documents all individual contacts and outcomes data in accordance with the guidelines in a timely manner.
- Identifies partially controlled patients and intervenes appropriately by liaising with the treating provider to manage the patients at risk.
- Participates in meetings and gives assistance to clinical, disease management, and member counselor team members with hospital admissions and patient outreach efforts as appropriate.
- Prepares reports/case studies as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned within the Managed Healthcare environment.
- Registered Nurse (additional post graduate certificate or diploma in counseling and/or psychology will be advantageous)
- Valid up to date SANC registration
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Disease Management, clinical patient management, and health education within a Managed Care environment.
- Oncology case management experience will be advantageous.
- Maternity wellness program experience will be advantageous.
- Dispensing licenses for nurse practitioners with a focus on the treatment of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) will be advantageous.
- Comprehensive knowledge, skills, and experience in chronic disease management and patient health education and monitoring.
- Excellent telephonic and written communication capability.
- Excellent listening skills and an ability to relate to people.
- Sensitivity and empathy.
- Ability to cope with emotional situations.
- Good organizational and task prioritization skills.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
