A day in your life as the Network Manager:
• Ensure daily operational duties are fulfilled
• Managing a team of Network and Net-SysAdmin engineers
• Ongoing maintenance and improvement of the RSAWEB network
• Overall planning of network rollout and associated tasks
• Managing of the RSAWEB network within budget parameters
• Maintain network stability and uptime of the RSAWEB network
• Network product support and ongoing development
• Security of the overall network
• Execution of the group network strategy
• Internal customer support
• And any other reasonable task
•This role requires managing a team of highly skilled engineers and providing the necessary direction to ensure operational or project success.
•Providing leadership to the team which includes day-to-day management, cultivating the company culture and ensuring the team is successful
•We encourage internal learning and on-the-job training. Engineering managers are required to provide coaching and necessary guidance to technical and non-technical staff.
• CCNP/CCSP certification with official CSCO number
• 10+ years working within an ISP based environment
• Experience and knowledge of Cisco routers and switches (IOS)
• Experience and knowledge of Juniper routers and switches (JUNOS)
• Experience and knowledge of Extreme Networks switches (EXOS)
• Experience and knowledge of IP addressing and subnetting (IPv4 &IPv6)
• Experience and knowledge of Routing protocols including BGP and OSPF
• Experience and knowledge of MPLS and Metro Ethernet protocols
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting ability
• Experience and knowledge of of Linux Servers
• Experience and knowledge of Radius (AAA)
• Experience and knowledge of VMWare and virtualization
• Proficiency with source-control tools (GitHub, Bitbucket, etc.)
• Familiar with monitoring systems/tools e.g. Netdata/Zabbix/Iris
• Experience leading a engineering team
• Knowledge of a wide variety of network solutions, standards and protocols
• Experience in working with multi-cultured employees
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to take ownership of projects and initiatives with minimal supervision
• Ability to work under pressure and is stress tolerant
• Capacity planning and network optimization experience
• Valid driver license and own transport

As a Provider Network Manager you will be part of the Provider Services Organization, being responsible for developing and managing relationships with Health Care Providers in Africa. You will work very closely with peers and stakeholders strategically positioned across the globe to deliver best in class service to CGHB’s providers, customers and clients.
Key to the role will be managing providers’ end-to-end journey, from on-boarding, enquiries, training, performance monitoring, complaints resolution and driving engagement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manages contracting and relations with healthcare providers including but not limited to Hospitals, clinics, pharmacies and physicians.
- Collaborates with respective teams in performing service area analysis and cost analysis to identify network development and renegotiation opportunities.
- Acts as an expert with regards to the medical landscape in the countries within your region and continuously monitor evolutions in that respect.
- Conducts smooth on-boarding and all aspects of health care professional education for existing and newly contracted health care professionals in the region.
- Manages day-to-day operational maintenance of provider relationships including resolution of potential complaints, escalations, suspensions or threats.
- Monitors and analyzes data such as Operations KPIs and reconciliation results to provide a comprehensive support to providers on their interpretation.
- Strive for continuous service improvement via analyses of root causes and proactive implementation of data-driven initiatives.
- Proactive communication with providers and maintenance of provider communications channels taking into consideration the local habits and practices.
- Provide consolidated feedback to PSO management team
- Conduct provider visits as applicable and regular meetings with your dedicated health care providers.
- If internal 2 years of Cigna experience, relevant experience in other functions, and a strong performance track record.
- If external, at least 3 years of experience in provider relations, network management or network operations with a customer/provider-facing experience profile.
- Proficient in English and Portuguese. Any other additional language is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- International mind-set able to work remotely with colleagues, partners and providers across the globe.
