- Utility-Scale Solar: Experience working on large-scale solar projects is highly valued.
- Agricultural: Experience working on hybrid/ off grid solar projects is highly valued.

Technical Expertise:
- Solar Energy Systems: Hands-on experience with solar energy systems, including design, installation, and performance analysis.

Role Description
Anthem is seeking a talented renewable energy engineer with a proven track record of at least 15 years' experience, at least 5 years of which are in the renewable wind energy industry, to join our growing business.
The role requires a combination of technical and contractual management skills, plus the proven ability to lead a team and play a meaningful role in the senior asset management team of the organisation. Reporting to the Head of Asset Management, this will be a key appointment within the team responsible for the management, monitoring and optimisation of the projects' performance.
The candidate will have an Engineering degree or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical with a strong track record of leading and closing EPC and/or O&M contract negotiations. Solar or Wind experience will be essential.

Support the implementation of energy efficiency and small-scale embedded generation (SSEG) solutions across Growthpoint's property portfolio. The role contributes to the development and execution of sustainability initiatives, performance monitoring, and stakeholder engagement, while ensuring alignment and with and achievement of the sustainability division targets and goals.
Key Performance Areas:
1. Energy
- Support the Head of Energy and Head of Efficiency Projects in identifying and implementing energy and efficiency strategies to achieve division targets and goals.
Assist in identifying green strategies across the Sustainability Business Unit (SBU).
Conduct energy audits and analyze data to identify opportunities for efficiency (as part of the Efficiency Projects Business Unit) and renewable energy (as part of the Energy Business Unit) projects.

Support with the compilation of submission packs for efficiency and renewable energy initiatives.

Focus on grid-connections and large-project context, structure and role-players are important. Financial acumen, with respect to energy projects and project finance is required. Business development, client-facing, team leadership, technical skills, written skills, people skills and contractual skills are all of importance. Knowledge of project planning and management, feasibility studies, concept design development and preparation of technical specifications and tender documentation - with a particular focus on photovoltaic, wind, storage, minigrids/micro-grids and grid systems will be an advantage.
