Ikwezi Mining invites applications for a 2-year Mining Engineering internship at our Newcastle operations. The successful candidate will assist in the design, planning as well as the drill and blasting operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the mine planning, design and scheduling.
- Participate in safety and risk management.
- Assist with rock mechanics and geotechnical analysis.
- Assist in daily underground and surface surveying activities
Key Requirements:
- Degree/ Diploma in Mining Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Mining principles regulations
- Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
