Our client, a specialist physician in Johannesburg, is seeking to recruit a personal assistant & medical practice support. This is a junior role and will essentially be assisting the main receptionists within the practice as well as the doctor with personal errands. You will be required to travel/drive, so a valid driver's license is essential. Vehicle will be provided for travelling.
Requirements:
- Diary management
- Email correspondence management
- Organise and update patient files
- Draft reports and maintain records
- Record patient vitals (blood pressure, height, weight etc.)
- Assist with patient check-ins & administration
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and readiness
- Handle personal errands for the doctor
- Occasional au pair duties
- Occasional pick-up and drop-off tasks
Qualification:
- Matric
- Valid driver's license is essential (vehicle provided for all work-related travelling)
- Medical admin or PA experience is advantageous
- Computer literate (MS Word, Excel & email proficient)
