Job Description:
SAP Ariba and MM – Lead / Primary
- We are looking for an Ariba Architect (minimum 10+ years of Ariba experience) & should be able to tick the following check boxes:
- Extensive knowledge in more than one of the following areas:
- Ability to clearly understand client requirements & articulate / advise the client convincingly
- Proficiency in all phases of project delivery
- Capability to handle client expectations & independently drive workshops, demos & training sessions
- Excellent understanding of Ariba product & future roadmap
- Knowledgeable in all modules of Ariba (both Upstream & Downstream)
- Working knowledge of Ariba integration with backend ERP & third-party systems
- Ability to communicate requirements to Ariba Shared Service & raise issues/defects with Ariba
- A team player willing to participate in activities like RFP responses, training, etc.
- Flexibility to travel on short- or long-term basis
- Strong client-facing skills with good communication and presentation abilities
- Experience in Implementation & Rollouts
- Basic Organizational Element Knowledge in MM
- Process knowledge in MM
- Understanding of S/4 HANA changes in MM with ECC
- Ability to identify gaps, issues, and workarounds
- Experience in preparing functional design documents, test cases, and results
- End user training experience
- S4 HANA/SAP MM Procurement and Sourcing Certification and SAP Ariba certifications
- Knowledge of Ariba and SAP integration (CIG)

- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- SAP MM Materials Management Module certification
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant ERP Module SAP MM
- Computer skills & knowledge - Microsoft Office, Excel, Word & Power Point
- Proven Experience in business process evaluation, procedural definition, configuration, and application systems development.
- Experience as a project team member could be on business side on a full lifecycle ERP implementation for SAP
- Must have a valid drivers license and Passport
- Must be prepared to work after hours and weekends if required.
- Understanding of SAP MM module principles, controls, and business processes
- Ability to create queries to extract information from data sources (inc. ERP / SAP query)

Responsibilities:
- Evaluate ERP business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
- Analysis of business requirements to drive design and review of test cases, process charges requests, and manage a projects scope, acceptance, installation, and development.
- Prepare formal functional and/or technical specification, including process workflow of system requirement.
- Configuration of ERP module as required
- Align business requirements with ERP Best Practice.
- Enable data migration from legacy system to ERP
- Assist users in changeover to ERP
- Assist with module configuration
- Implementation of policy and procedural changes within business relevant to module
- Define, execute and approval of simulation testing
- Design, develop and provision of training solutions
- Train Users in existing and new processes
- Roll out of solution to business within agreed timeframes
- Manage competing resources and priorities
- Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects
- Support to Business (Users) during project, after go-live and for ad hoc requirements
- Ensure accurate recordkeeping
- Prepare and submit accurate reports, in the agreed format, on time
