Job Description

To be responsible and accountable for the operational performance of the team through the provision of operational team management oversight in terms of team co-ordination and management, relationship management and customer service. The role may lead the processing team within Master Data Contracts. To manage and control the day-to-day master data capturing, systems, processes, and procedures relating to all rental, and variable utilities charges for Bank-owned and SA Lease premises and ROA Portfolio and 3rd party sites.

Qualifications

A Degree in Finance and Accounting or Office Administration or People Management Certificate

Experience Required:

1-2 years experience in knowledge of managing staff in an operation's environment with manual and automated processes functioning in parallel across the customer service value chain in a production and/or a financial services industry.

3-4 years working knowledge of branch systems and procedures including AML Compliance. Experience gained in an environment where a basic understanding of Standard Bank Group Risk and Compliance functions and reporting requirements for Group Sanctions, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) standards and combating financing of terrorism (CFT) is obtained.

Purpose of the position:

To provide oversight and technical support to THC data capturers through facility level supervision and support visits (e.g. visit a facility once every two months), capacity building and data quality assurance (e.g. apply data verification tool every second visit to a facility and leave facility with an action plan). To support the flow of facility level data for accurate and timeous weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual reporting.

• NQF level 6 or equivalent qualification in data management or statistics, health, public health, social sciences, information technology, or related field will be an advantage
• At least 3 years' experience in data quality management, verification, conducting routine data quality assessments (RDQA) or data quality audits
• Experience in working on donor-funded projects is desirable
• Good understanding and experience in using one of the following NDoH information management systems (District Health Information System (DHIS), TIER.Net, Electronic Drug Resistance Register (EDRWEB), and/ Patient Record and Health Management Information System (PREHIMS) or Primary Health Care Information System (PHCIS), will be an added advantage
• Valid driver's licence and be willing to travel

• Provide guidance to facility and community staff, relating to the effective ways to implement and adhere to the six key stages of data management
• Work with the M&E officers to develop and implement data quality assessment tools
• Conduct regular data verification visits, including detailed checking of reported data against source documents
• Ensure that data management systems and procedures are in place, implemented and adhered to
• Oversee TB project data management reports, as well as participate in data review meetings
• Conduct routine data quality assessments (RDQA) / data quality audits
• Write professional reports and provide feedback on data quality issues detected.
