We are seeking an experienced, driven, and commercially minded General Manager, Marketing to lead all aspects of product marketing, sales strategy, and customer engagement.   • Ensure all marketing materials and activities comply with relevant insurance, financial services, and regulatory standards
  • Liaise with compliance officers and legal advisors to review and approve marketing content
  • Initiate and support cross-selling opportunities across the Insurance portfolio
  • Assist broker teams with tailored marketing material, presentations, and client-facing communications
  • Identify and leverage opportunities to grow market share
  • Coordinate marketing initiatives between internal teams (brokers, compliance, corporate marketing)
  • Represent the TWK Insurance department at industry events, exhibitions, sponsorships, and community initiatives
  • Manage the TWK Insurance department's presence at sponsored events to maximise exposure and customer engagement
  • Drive and support BEE (Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment) marketing initiatives
  • Contribute to CSI (Corporate Social Investment) and community outreach programs aligned with the Insurance department's values
  • Support customer education through newsletters, guides and webinars
  • Project management of all change management processes and advertising campaigns
  • Manage and oversee the branding/logos of standard documents

Qualifications and Skills

  • Degree/diploma in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Proven experience in marketing, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector
  • Solid understanding of online media platforms and digital marketing campaigns
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure campaign effectiveness
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities

Qualifications

· A relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous. BA in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

· Solid understanding of marketing techniques and principles as well as market research and statistical data analysis methods.

· Knowledge of MS Office and marketing software (e.g. CRM, Dynamics, Excel).

· In-depth knowledge of social media and web analytics.

Work experience

· 3 to 5 years' experience as a Marketing Assistant or a related role
