The Marketing Intelligence Consultant will be responsible for growing key client relationships (in collaboration with Incubeta client teams), developing their marketing intelligence maturity, and positioning their data & analytics expertise to increase the understanding of the value of our solutions & Incubeta's reputation internally and externally.
The Marketing Intelligence Consultant will evolve their mindset from a business planning perspective to a business strategy perspective. They are able to track how Incubeta's Marketing Intelligence proposition helps clients attract, convert & delight their target customers. They can leverage their data & analytics experience to provide recommendations to help their clients remain competitive. They will review their clients' marketing intelligence journey in order to confirm challenges to overcome & opportunities to capitalise on to help them achieve their business goals.They will mentor junior client facing personnel and support them with best practices when building client relationships.
Key Responsibilities KPI & Performance Management- Achieve GP targets, depicting year-on-year growth.
- Receive positive client feedback in scorecard surveys.
- Receive positive client feedback in post-project reviews.
- Demonstrates impact on client marketing intelligence maturity, through measurement of upsell and cross-sell % into assigned clients, and success stories from partnerships.
- Demonstrates wider understanding of data and analytics on marketing in order to build rapport and get buy-in from clients.
- Leverages data analysis & visualisations to surface actionable marketing insights, which are used to build a compelling marketing intelligence narrative for clients.
- Advocates for the use of cutting-edge solutions & competitive technologies - such as machine learning - to help clients' business performance.
- Recommends new analytics & data solutions to clients where gaps exist, and champions adoption within Incubeta if scalable.
- Demonstrates understanding of client marketing teams' planning, operations and processes, measured through the adoption of their marketing intelligence recommendations.
- Demonstrates marketing intelligence knowledge, and understanding of client challenges, through creation of blog posts, case studies & industry thought pieces.
- Proactively engages with updates across data, analytics, and the digital marketing sector, and successfully communicates relevant insights with the team and clients.
- Take time for research and development - stay up to date with the latest technologies, techniques and methods to inform our marketing intelligence narrative.
- Effectively communicates value of solutions to clients using knowledge of data, analytics, and industry updates.
- Proposes, implements and/or contributes to ceremonies to maintain ongoing key client relationships (eg. regular performance reviews, roadmap meetings, business reviews), collaborating with other Incubeta client servicing teams as appropriate.
- Leverages best practices & frameworks (e.g. SCQA) to communicate recommendations to clients, with evidence to back up our proposals.
- Starts using tools & analysis techniques (e.g. SWOT) to understand their clients' organisations in more depth, and tailors their approach on the resulting insights.
- Confidently sets objectives on engagements with clients, and ensures they are met when defining short and long term client strategies, and delivering work.
- Keeps client objectives, customers and target audiences front of mind when consulting & providing recommendations.
- Manages client projects efficiently when leading on them: understanding the scope and success criteria of the project, following correct procedures to ensure consistency in delivery & communication.
- Consistently updates external and internal stakeholders on roadmap updates, milestones, and potential risks - conveying the value of Incubeta marketing intelligence solutions throughout.
- Triages, promptly responds and understands client inquiries, and can brief in other resources to help resolve challenges & delight clients.
- Independently delivers analytics and data solutions, leveraging best practices and scalable methods to provide impactful results.
- Actively gathers and incorporates feedback to improve delivery.
- Can review and improve quality of project documentation & deliverables where needed.
