Reporting to : Chief Operating Officer (COO) and CEO Location : Johannesburg or Durban Highly competitive salary per annum depending on qualifications and experience Business Development Manager would be responsible for identifying and driving new business opportunities to support company's growth strategy across local and international markets.

Oversee the end-to-end sales cycle including client engagement, proposals, presentations, and contract negotiations.
Maintain a high conversion rate of leads into signed contracts through tailored value propositions.
Establish and nurture long-term relationships with clients, strategic partners, and industry influencers.
Track industry developments and competitor activity to inform market positioning.
Represent company at trade shows, networking events, and client briefings when appropriate Essentials for the role SOUTH AFRICAN WORK PERMIT ESSENTIAL Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field (MBA advantageous).
Business development experience in logistics, clearing, and forwarding industries specialising in mining and minerals.

Job Overview

Create and maintain safe, secure, attractive, and productive working environments that support the operational needs of all tenants in the managed portfolios. Oversee the performance and delivery of the RES Commercial Facilities Management functions across South Africa, ensuring that FM goals and objectives are met according to established service standards, including soft services. Drive service benchmarking, process improvement, cost reduction, and innovation initiatives.
Qualifications
- A degree in Construction and Physical Planning or Project Management
Experience Required:
- 5-7 years experience in Real Estate Management / Facilities Management
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and expedite all invoices related to services provided by third-party vendors monthly. Control and upload invoices and supporting documents via EchoSign for approval by Building or Operations Managers.
- Maintain departmental files of all monthly performance matrix reviews and consumable orders with relevant documentation for managed buildings. Manage stock control and support services for each building management team, including stationary supplies across the portfolio.
- Coordinate with relocation teams during office moves, assisting in seating allocations and supervising move planning and execution.
- Manage the consolidated supplier consumables process, including order loading and stock monitoring. Handle departmental employee claims and update staff information regularly in the CDMS system.
- Support the Building Management team with training and leave schedules. Create and manage purchasing carts, process invoices with proper approvals, and support adhoc payment requirements across the portfolio.
- Work closely with the Finance department to expedite payments as needed.
