Job Description

Leading company in the packaging industry is seeking supervisor to coordinate the prototyping and initial run of new products. You will need previous hands-on experience in a production coordinating capacity. This role is responsible for coordinating new enquiries, sample making, origination, inks management, stereo and die availability from suppliers. Key responsibilities include supervising the timely and accurate completion of prototypes, liaising with the Design Department in order to meet with sales demand, tracking stereo and die damages, reducing ink usage per division, improving ink naming and coding systems, managing reporting on budget, purchases, and first off failures, and delivering projects in line with business strategy while meeting design demands.

Requirements:
Minimum Matric
National Diploma in relevant field would be highly advantageous
3 Years experience in production and launching of new products

What You'll Do:

Clean & Hazard-free Manufacturing Environment:

  • Keep production areas clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards.

Manufacturing Department Administration Assistance:

  • Provide general office administration assistance to the manufacturing manager.

Stock Control:

  • Receive, check, and record stock deliveries.
  • Conduct testing and quality checks on incoming stock.
  • Pick and verify stock for manufacturing.
