- Diagnose Plant and equipment problems (fault-finding) and identify opportunities to modify, upgrade, improve or replace equipment and spares.

- Compile and supervise the Preventive Maintenance Programme according to the maintenance requirements for machines and equipment.

- Develop, implement and maintain a planned maintenance tracking/ recording system, analyse data and make recommendations with regards to frequency of servicing/ planned replacement/ refurbishment of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, instrumentation, electrical, electrical, etc. equipment
- Routine maintenance tasks related to cleaning, inspections, preventative maintenance, planned maintenance schedule and first line maintenance in equipment/ buildings/ facilities

Key requirements

Requirements
- Grade 12 or Matric
- Certification as qualified Millwright/Mechatronics
