To ensure the safe and efficient operation of the machine ensuring a high quality product with low wastage within set parameters.

Key Accountabilities And Outputs

Responsible for Process control and efficiencies

• Correct operation of equipment as per the training and machine manual.
• Achieve set factory waste and efficiency targets.
• To hand over from or to the previous or next shift regarding the machinery (breakdowns, products run) in conjunction with the supervisor decide on downtime scheduling
• To check the quality of raw materials used in production and also the end product according to the quality control policy. This includes a constant interaction with the Quality controller.
• To clean the machines according to TPM cleaning schedules.
• Responsible for Resource planning and technical skills

Qualifications and Experience

• Responsible for maintaining machine health, following the set industrial safety, food safety, and personal hygiene compliance in the work area while machine operation.
• Accountable for maintaining daily input and output reconciliation of consumed RM and produced laminates by the end of the shift.
• Responsible for following the rules set by plant HR for plant entry & exit, and disciplinary acts.

• Actual Production vs set target, monitored daily and monthly.

• Following QMS and Food Safety Compliance in the department while machine operation.
• Learning and training of machine operation with the help of assigned senior machine operator and under the guidance of the reporting manager within the set timeline, monitored monthly and quarterly.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering/ITI, with 2-6 years of relevant industry experience.

Skills:

• Knowledge of adhesives, other chemicals, and mechanical systems.
• Basic computer skills and ability to operate applications like MS Office.
