Purpose of the job

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Sr. Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Analyst to join our Security Operations team. This role focuses on protecting sensitive data across endpoints, cloud services, and email channels by managing and evolving our DLP technologies, policies, and controls. The Supervisor: Protection Services - Operations is accountable for coordinating and overseeing the protection services daily operations. The incumbent's responsibilities include planning, scheduling and supervising daily operational activities relating to administration, guarding, access control, logistics, surveillance, investigations and operational response handling.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Diploma in Security Management or equivalent qualification
• At least 5 years' supervisory experience on a mining operation, gold plant or precious metals environment
• Demonstrated track record in operational perimeter and access control management, incident investigation, emergency response and public order management
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations applicable to private security operations
• Firearm handling competency and proficiency
• Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk-based medical examination at the Gold Fields Occupational Health Centre and pass a Heat Tolerance Screening test, and such other tests as may be required to assess the applicant's suitability for employment
